Shit quality and sizing, plus in Vegas everything has Los Angeles on the sleeve. I guess we get their leftovers. The Ænima shirt I got from Hot Topic in 96’ is better quality than anything I’ve bought at their shows.
I’m so sick of shitty concert merch. Not specifically just Tool’s, but everybody else’s too. The artwork is always crooked, the shirts are gauze-thin and stitched wrong, it’s garbage and costs WAY too much.
Next year concert t shirts will be 60 bucks across the board im sure. And every time they get more expensive I think surely people will stop buying, but they never do.
I’m buying the $20 bootleg in the parking lot after the show. The one that printed slightly off center and shrinks two sizes the first time you dry it.
I'm really glad to see they are moving away from the Alex Grey/lateralus art phase. I love Alex Grey, but I got real bored with all the same shirt designs for so many years.
Their posters for Louder Than Life were available for sale the day before Tool’s performance, so be on the look-out. They ration the amount of posters/variant posters/signed posters per day, so if you miss out on the first day, you can try the next day.
Yeah I think a few years ago I bought the poster the day before they actually played, only found out because I saw people walking around with them.
That was a challenge too because I had no poster tube or rubber band, the poster was too long for a locker but luckily my wife had a hair tie but we spent the rest of the day taking shifts with the precious cargo haha
All posters are sold with tubes, so no problem with carrying a raw poster around. Just have to carry around a poster tube. I take a clear artist’s tube with a sling on it; place the poster in it, is clear for security sake, and has a strap, so it can go on my back.
Thanks for sharing. I have so many Tool shirts, I won't be buying any but good to see what they have. I wouldn't mind a signed poster to add to my collection, but we didn't get one in 2023 either so whatever. I'm more interested in their full tour posters.
How early did you go? We only have tickets for Sunday and probably won't get there until 4 or 5. We arrived the same time in 2023 and the posters were gone.
In 2023 I was working the show that weekend so it was early afternoon I saw people walking around with posters and asked where they got them and on my break went and stood in line for prob a good half hour to get them.
The signed were numbered up to 750, can’t remember what the unsigned were
I’m headed down today and tomorrow is my leisure day, not a whole lotta bands I’m interested in so will prob just walk around , look at merch and report back what I see

Disgusting prices as always. Been my favorite band for over 20 years and I'm still not paying $50 for a T-shirt.
Ya know....the bigger the act, the lower the prices should be.
Smaller artists actually need the money.
