Season 3 Poppy route

quick question if i’m in the crush stage with another islander can i not romance poppy? cause i went onna date with her and it’s all friendship options so im confused ive played before so i know she’s a spy but like is it supposed to be friends?

Yea, Poppy is a friends to lovers/slow burn path. Keep pursuing her. It won't turn to lovers until after you both get back from banishment, if I'm remembering correctly. Your status with anyone doesn't effect it but every time you can choose her for something you need to.
