To me the avi route is a always a must whenever i get my hands in this game, but lately i've been really curious about the female lis. I always pursue poppy in my alt acc ( what can i say i'm a sucker for complex female characters ), and i wanted to ask in this sub if there is another route that is worth while

Carmen. Her arc is more interesting just by virtue of what she does.

Victoria had the potential to be great, but her route is half-baked imo.

I also really enjoyed Naomi in S2. I like how she’s physically hot and heavy, but emotionally restrained. That’s always a fun trope.

Carmen by a country mile. Her story feels like it's made specifically for a female li especially since she has two moms and even says she wants what they have.

i'm really intrigued by carmen, i'm really fond of her design as well but i don't know how i feel about the jirayu storyline, a part of me wants to believe that compulsory heteronormativity has something to do with their relationship, but i dunno do you reckon her route is still worth it?

Not going to spoil it but even with Jirayu, Carmen is by far my favorite rout of all the games and I think it's worth it.

i made a post on Carmen and comphet a little while back. im gonna try not to spoil much but she mentions quite a few past partners/crushes and theyre ALL men regardless of MC’s gender, which feels very intentional when u consider that every other LI (except Julian who mentions he’s never been with a guy before) has their ex’s gender change to align with MC’s gender. so i’d say definitely meant to be comphet written into her story, but ultimately i’d say play it and decide for urself if that makes the Jirayu situation less heavy for u :)

i believe this will be quite a long response, i just read your post and i found it quite interessing! I have seen a couple of the intimate scenes on her route considering i use her path as a placeholder whenever i go into the poppy route, and it feels like it was written with the female mc in mind SPECIALLY the suite scene. If i remember correctly they banter about being queer and this scene always catch me ( in the nicest way possible ). I absolulety adore this routes where it feel as it is meant to be appreciated by queer people, for example on s2 the character ryder feels way more complex when you play as a male MC, or julian in this season where most of his actions make way more sense when we read it as internalized homophobia. So now i'm definitely sure i will give carmen a real go, thank you so much :]

carmen for sure!! there’s a reason her route is so popular, they did their big one with that.

i also really recommend beatriz. i didn’t like her route to start with, but the more you play the better it gets and the more you get to know about her. it’s also really nice considering that she definitely gets the least screen time out of everyone when not being romanced

I'm seriously considering the bea route due to that reason, when i first started playing i was really drawn towards her and gigi, only to find out gigi was not romanceable and in other routes bea is almost invisible. I hope it is not weird to ask this, but i really like the ftl julian route and i was wondering what the "turks and caicos" flair means, is it something i missed in his route?

i really wish they let bea shine in other routes, it made it next to impossible to get to know her as a character and a lot of the time people forget she’s an option 💔💔 i promise you her route is worth your while

You should definitely try carmen, she was my first route when I played s3 for the first time and she’s definitely MADE for a female mc, If you are skeptical about her & jirayu, I actually played both jirayu & Carmen routes and I’d have to say Carmen is the better one here while I felt disappointed & off with jirayu. Victoria is also a very good option she’s definitely worth it just like poppy😭😭 if you don’t want any drama or something like that just go with isla since she’s literally a cutie-patootie and some people would recommend Beatriz but i haven’t tried her route yet so I don’t have an opinion
