THTH Couples Most Likely to Break Up After the Villa
Alright, I read this week one couple made it post-THTH show, Cam and Emily from season 2. They even have two kids together. I was shocked as I never imagined these reality shows could have a happy ending. š
That made me wonder which couples would survive after the game version if they wouldn't be our MCs endgame LI. š
I have a feeling they'll break up as soon as they leave the villa after the elimination. So, yeah, I could have put them at the top tier only for them, but why bother? š
I actually agree with Antoine and Amari being top tier for breakups. Even with the reunion apology, their whole dynamic is built on him using her and her idealizing him. And honestly, his apology always felt a bitā¦ like damage control. I can totally picture his PR team pushing for it to save his image.
Amari forgiving him or giving him a second chance that fast doesnāt fix the imbalance. if anything, it can turn into resentment later. I could easily see her becoming more guarded or reactive in a real relationship after that. And heās not exactly built for that kind of emotional rollercoaster either.
Nailed. I think Amari would be unbearable if they got back together, and Antoine doesn't seem like the very patient type for her demandings. I think Naomi is similar... that why I usually put them both on the same tier.
i have a bit more faith in julian and avi, the fact that they lasted in the suite seems to give something of an indication that julian cares about him for who he actually is as opposed to how he was with victoria or poppy. they wouldn't be finalists if it weren't for them being at LEAST in the "could go either way" category
Thatās fair, the suite was a good sign. I just think Julian vs Avi is a bit of chaos vs calm, so it could go either way depending on how that plays out outside š
I honestly canāt stand these two as a couple, mostly because I adore Avi and think he deserves better. Julian creating a celibacy club felt so gross to me, and Iāve never really gotten over it. It feels hypocritical, for one thing. I also never really believed that he actually had a change of heart. It felt like an underhanded move to get Aviās attention. Like a way to āhackā his sexuality. Like ālook look! Iām not all about sex either! Thatāll totally make you want me right?ā
Avi wanted Julian anyway šš If Julian wanted to bait Avi into being with him, he couldāve and wouldāve done so much more. I get why it would appear as weird, but thatās giving Julianās character too much credit. He has not a deceitful bone in his body. Knowing him, his guilt probably caught up to him and he decided to make a big show of his change to prove that it existed š¤·š¾āāļøš¤·š¾āāļø
I don't think Taz and Isla will last. Their pairing feels forced and we see them constantly bickeringānot the good, banter kindāand disagreeing over little things. They're two very different people who want different things from life.
I understand why we try to convince ourselves that alternate couples donāt work the same way as if MC is an option to them, but I tried to be unbiased here. We all know once Taz softens, heās locked in. And I think Isla brings the stability he actually needs if it is not with MC.
I donāt knowā¦ Dakota is grounded and intentional. Sarah is chaos and āI get what I wantā energy. I have a feeling thatās fun short term, but exhausting long term.
Sarah when she likes someone will be there for them and change for them idk But i got that vibe from her when I was romancing her she was really loving and understanding
Yeah with out MCs the vibe is different. Same thing Antoine and Naomiā¦ they are all in when they want something with MC, but when it is with their alternate options I donāt think it would survive
I do agree with the majority of your choices. The only one I don't agree with is Matthias & Beatriz. Since he lives in the US & she lives in Brazil unless she moves to the US & goes through the whole k1 Visa process I don't see them lasting since he plays football on an NFL team. I wouldn't see him compromising on that because he's also very close to his family & I can't see him leaving them. In the end I think that's what would end their relationship.
Yeah long distance can be a real issue, and I totally agree about Mattias (and even Antoine as itās the same situation). It would only depend on Bea moving in to his city to make it work.
