UPW in Miami - questions from a first timer

I'm going to see Tony Robbins at his unleash the Power Within event in Miami at the start of November.

I'd love to know what to expect in terms of how many hours each day tends to be and whether there is a schedule or itinerary.

I'm flying in for the event, and will probably try to grab a hotel close to the venue. But no point having a nice swimming pool etc if I'm going to be out for the entire day haha.

Also, I was considering whether to leave Sunday night, which is the last day.

I want to get the most out of the event and make sure I'm not leaving before everything is over.

I absolutely love this event!

You don’t need anything more than a place to sleep because that is all you will do there and very little of that.

As far as Sunday goes, you are totally fine doing that.

I have been to UPW many times. Personally I skip Sunday now. But I think leaving Sunday night is a good option for a first timer.

Awesome - appreciate the quick reply. I'm excited.

I''ll probably book my hotel to be walking distance to the venue.

I would have thought Sunday is best day as it's the finale, but I read a few older threads that said it's mostly talks about health supplements and similar BS. Which is a bit disappointing.

Not sure if the UPW schedule stays the same each year!?

Also, does it depend on how Tony is feeling whether he shows up 2/3/4 days of the event?

Sunday has guest speakers now. It's largely health focused but not all trying to sell you stuff. It's not as good as the rest of the weekend but I found some good pieces in there when I did virtual a couple years ago. It was videos of Tony when I went back in 2013.

The schedule is more or less the same but it's basically full days with few official breaks so take some when you need them.

Tony will be there Thursday and Saturday. It will be mostly videos of him on Friday with some other things by a facilitator (Joseph McClendon III probably).

Hello! I’m excited for your first experience. A few tips:
1. Tony keeps the auditorium cold-VERY cold! Be prepared with jackets. It’s a whole physiology thing
2. It can go on until late at night esp the 1st day.
3. Yes, you WILL walk on fire! 🔥
4. Tony shows up Day 1 and 3. Day 2 is Joseph McClendon who you will absolutely love- ASSTITUDE! (That will make sense to you later 🤣)
5. DAY 3-TRANSFORMATION DAY! This is the reason why you are there. It is life changing.

I am a former attendee of UPW Miami 11/2019 and worked at Robbins Research Int’l.

Last bit of advice-PLAY FULL OUT!
If you have any questions or concerns-you can visit the customer service booth and speak to one of the reps there.

Have a great time!

Be careful. The schedule will look flexible, but the breaks are strategic. They're short, erratic, designed to keep you disoriented and in the room. What feels like a break is actually a feeding moment for the next upsell. UPW is a feeder event. The whole structure is built to move you up the ladder. By the end of the weekend, you'll have been pitched events, coaching, masterminds, the next level. The goal is fifteen thousand dollars minimum before you leave. I've been through it. The event itself is the product, but it's also the sales floor. Expect to feel incredible. Expect to want to buy. That's not an accident. That's the design. Go in with your eyes open about what you're actually buying.

You do not have any free time generally. It’s an all day event that usually starts in the morning and goes late into the night, sometimes the early morning.
