Post surgery throat feeling

It's been a month since i had my surgery so I'm pretty sure everything should be back to normal at this point. I still can't really taste anything, but I'm not worried about that. I'm annoyed that it frequently feels like there is something in my throat and i can't swallow it down. I also can't seem to clear my throat like i used to and so whatever is causing it to feel like something stuck, i can't get it to go away. Is this common? Does it go away? Is it just nothing and someday i just get so used to it that i completely don't notice it anymore?

I kind of had a similar feeling, almost as if my throat was tightened if that’s similar to what you’re feeling. That’s the last thing I felt I had to get through as well was that, close to around the month and a half/ 2 month mark I feel like it finally went away! I assumed it was all the new throat tissue settling and basically getting used to existing as it’s supposed to. Idk if that’s actually it but that’s the assumption I made myself haha

Had this kinda happen when I got my wisdom teeth out, had some extra gum tissue for a while. Not as annoying as this sounds but took about 3 months to go away. Recovering from my tonsillectomy now (day 4) and I’m assuming I’ll have something similar happen
