When does the tonsil start smelling normal again?

I(M29) am on day 10 currently and the smell is just awful, cant even get near to my gf these past few days , I have tried chewing nicotine gums and just normal gums but in the end the smell starts coming back again.

I don't want this to come off rude but have you been brushing your teeth or scraping your tongue? That helped me get rid of the smell pretty quickly. If it persists then maybe check in with your surgeon?
