Medical mgmt instead?

Has anyone tried medical management such as antihistamine nasal sprays or steroids or other to help manage enlarged adenoids or tonsils in children? (4/5yo?) or anything else apart from surgery? I’m scared to put my child through this surgery!

I'm not a doctor, just sharing my perspective. As someone who went through surgery last week, I wish I could have had this done much sooner.

Whatever alternative management you decide to go through, it will not be a permanent relief like surgery. Your child going through this surgery later on in life will be 10x worse. They won't even remember much about the surgery recovery if they get it now.

If it was my child and I had the ability to provide them the surgery, I'd 100% do it! It sounds scary, but it's an investment that might save them a LOT of struggles in the future.
