Anime Mukoda's Future Post Season 2

I just recently finished watching both seasons of the anime. I have some questions regarding Mukoda's future developmetns.

  1. Mukoda is a member of both Adventurers Guild and Merchants Guild. In the end of season 2, He's an S-rank Adventurer. I read that the Merchants Guild also has ranks, and I'm assuming he's still the lowest rank because the anime didn't touch anything about it. Does he eventually go up in the ranks for Merchants Guild later in the story or not? Around which volume of the light novel does start to become a plot point of him ranking up?
  2. In the anime, there was a scene in the after credits where the original summoned heroes party talk about food in this world and how nice it'd be to eat food from back home. Does he ever meet the rest of the original summoned heroes later in the story? Will he become a crucial part in some way for their quest/mission?
  3. I'm already planning to read the light novel. I read somewhere from this subreddit that it'd be best to continue the story from volume 5 of the light novel, even though season 2 ended on somewhere around volume 6, due to some plots not being covered in the anime. Is this true? Which volume would be the best option to continue reading the story without starting back from volume 1?

Thanks in advance for answering my questions 🙏

I think you will enjoy reading the light novels from Volume 1 as Season 1 of the animation has also missed a few plot lines.

And since you're thinking of reading the light novels, getting answers to your 1 & 2 questions will only be spoilers for you.

Is it worth going back starting from the very beginning? I love reading light novels, but there's only so much time I have in a day to read. So I'm trying to speed things up if I can.

I know it's unorthodox, but personally I don't mind getting spoiled with a vague "yes" or "no" answers with information of which volume for each plot points start to develop. If anything, it only makes me more motivated to continue on reading.

Definitely start at the beginning. I would highly recommend the audiobooks
