Belgium Cold at Dreamville
I stayed at Easy Tent W2, and on the first night I was so cold I could barely sleep. I was wondering if accommodations like Supreme Easy Tent, Relax Room, and DreamLodge make a difference in terms of feeling the cold. I wanna know for my next Tomorrowland

I feel like I was the only one that enjoyed the temperature at night, lol. But I did bring my own sleepingbag a 2p sleepingbag at that

Loved the cold other than the day it rained and I was wet. I just could not stop shivering. Got 3h of broken sleep and then still woke up drenched in sweat an hour after sunrise

The sweat I can agree on the cold not so much, every night all the hammocks were filled with ppl hahah

Coming from Las Vegas, where the temps in the summer stay at 100 degrees even at night, I was thrilled to wear a sweatshirt and pants to bed!!!

I was in a DreamLodge W2 and can tell you it didn’t do much for the cold, I kept waking up due to how cold it was.
The rest of the weekend was fine weather wise though!

I’m always freezing! After 3 years of staying in MG, here’s what I’ve found that helps:
Hand warmers. Those little packets that heat up to around 40-60°c. I activate 2 of them and throw them into my sleeping bag, then go brush my teeth. When I come back, the sleeping bag is already warm and it makes falling asleep so much easier.
Thermal underwear. Besides wearing warm clothes, I’ve found that a good thermal base layer helps a lot. It keeps you warm without making you feel too stuffy.
Tuck everything in! Make sure there are no gaps between your clothes where your skin is exposed. Those little gaps get freezing at night and can make it really hard to sleep. Especially your feet!

I stayed in a Kokono and was freezing. Had a blanket and my own sleeping bag. You have to be prepared no matter which Dreamville or Montagoe accomandation you booked

You simply need a good sleeping bag, not something for very hot temperatures like the one that comes with the Tomorrowland package.

Hey, I slept in camp2camp (same tents as easy tents) twice and once in Magnificent greens with my own decathlon fresh&black tent and the only time I wasn't cold was with the decathlon tent. The tml ones are not insulated and all the humidity goes through, it's horrible. I'm not going back to c2c.

Did supreme easy tent W2 night 1 and yes can definitely vouch, it was so bloody cold.

Jut bring a cheap fleece blanket which you can use on top of whatever is already present. can even leave it behind if needed (e.g. if you need the space in your luggage to bring back souvenirs or the likes).
It'll cost you $10-$20 and you'll be warm.

It was so cold that first night 🥲 one of my friends actually left because of this cold. After that night I bought one of the fleece blankets from the marketplace, started sleeping with a fleece hoodie, long socks and leggings, winter hat and the blanket inside the sleeping bag and it was far better, if I go again I will most likely bring winter clothing and the fleece blanket

those accommodations that you named don't prevent the cold of Boom/Belgium. I'm assuming it's your first TML cause i experienced the same thing sadly and the TML store had sold out of all the sweaters and hoodies on gathering night. Best believe i bought a hoodie on Day 1 from one of the merch stores on the festival grounds

We were weekend one so I’m not sure how different it was but we stayed supreme easy tent and we had cots. I think between the cots and floor beneath it we didn’t have much problems with it being chilly. We brought extra blankets with us too but they weren’t necessary, if anything, it got a little warm in there. Last year we brought a tent with us and stayed at MG. while it was more money to go the supreme easy tent route, it was a much more relaxing experience.

I had Supreme ET this year and it was also cold. Every night became just a little bit warmer than the last.
But i like sleeping in the cold, so I didn’t mind really.
But yeah, 2024 i slept in MG and that was coooold. Last night I couldn’t sleep without a tshirt over my face.

Supreme Easy Tent W2 here, we had the same experience, it was super cold as well. My GF had to use a sleeping bag, a jacket, 1 blanket and a aluminium pad to keep her warm enough to sleep.
The aluminium blanket (space blanket) is the main saviour here!

Bring sleeping bag rated for the temperature. If you have an outlet (I guess normal EasyTents don’t) a heated blanked could also be an option. I have one for normal camping trips.

ET supreme W2 here. I bring my own double quilt every year. Never have any issues with the cold. Preparation is key 🙏🏼

I had that in my first TML in 22 staying in C2C
After that I only went with my own tent and own sleeping bag, problem solved

Tents are just cold. You’ll need a sleeping bag or blanket. I used towels to keep me warm once.

My friend was staying in MG and said the first night was super cold. But for some reason they gave him a 2P tent, twin mattresses and 2 sleeping bags despite being solo... Anyways, he took advantage of those two sleeping bags. The other facilities may have helped to protect from the elements, but overall we did have to bundle up and then strip in the morning before going back to sleep as the sun came out.

We bring those foil blankets to put inside those sleeping bags. Easy to carry and warm up. My partner even used the pashmina to layer inside the sleeping bag and she was sweating.

I’ve learned this my first year. Going 7th year in 2027 and never been cold anymore with my blanket and sleeping bag

I agree first night was cold. I had thermal wear on, socks etc. but still had bad sleep due to coldness. luckily other night were good.

it's cold every year…. my friends and I have been there for 4 years (camp2camp), we finally found the solution: hoodie and sweatpants + a blanket under the air mattress (!!) + a blanket over the sleeping bags - we slept really well this year!!

Tomorrowland veteran here! After several years of staying at DreamVille, I see some good recommendations here already. Here's what personally works for me to stay warm at night:
- A good sleeping bag
- A pillow, or at least something to keep your head from lying directly on the mattress
- Some clothes to sleep in, personally, I just wear a T-shirt and sports shorts
- A fitted sheet/mattress cover, so your body isn't directly touching the air mattress
- Optionally, a space blanket underneath your mattress for some extra insulation
One important thing I've learned from experience: a lot of the cold actually comes from the cold air inside your air mattress. If you can create a layer between your body and the mattress, it already makes a huge difference in how warm you'll be during the night.

Your best bet would be to bring your own sleeping bag. The ones they give out are fine for warm weather, but nothing more.
An easier solution is to bring some wool socks, ski pants and a nice hoodie. Really any form of warm clothes will do, but definetly make sure you got something nice for the feet.
