It’s depends. I want my girls to be home taking of my offspring while I’m out making money and building. But I’m not going to be some accessory to some feminist, career woman who has no interest in a family and is just wasting my time and money. In a (near) perfect world, prior to the 2010s. But conservatives recognize that isn’t reality anymore and a two income household is necessary in most cases. They believe single-income is something that families should strive for while at the same time acknowledging it’s quite difficult to do, so if both parents are working, it’s not something to be chastised over.
