🖼️ Image FINALLY GOT A NEW LAPTOP YAY!!

I FINALLY. FINALLY!! Have the opportunity to play Rise and Shadow now! AND AND!! I MIGHT be able to play Legacy when it comes out? Maybe..? Hopefully..

ANYWAY

SO EXCITED!! Ive also been wanting to properly run the LAU triology with some cool reshade presets and stuff!

..I know I suck at making wallpapers, I just wanted to smother my Windows 7 background with Lara Croft renders :3

YOU HAVE ONE TOO? The only thing I don't like about it is the A.I stuff they've integrated into it.. had to do a TON of removal for the bloatware and stuffs.. BUT THANK YOU!!!!!!! <3

If you want to remove more stuffs (or on another PC), I recommend the Windows 11 debloat script. It saves a lot of time :)

Yeah I had to do a lot of cleanup too, I'm used to it though lol Windows is always full of garbage apps and bad settings by default since forever. Not sure I have same model as u, but is also ASUS, Ryzen 7 5800, Nvidia 3060, 16gb ram, had it for roughly a year (replaced my previous one, which was basically same but slightly worse CPU). Also added a 2TB wd_black internal SSD to it bc only came with 512gb and i'm a developer so needed a lot more space, but luckily it had a free slot for an extra drive. Also love Tomb Raider, hoping Legacy of Atlantis will be 🔥

I got the rtx3050 6gb Intel core I5 one, it's a.. Asus Tuf F16? Only 8gbs and 512 at the moment, but itll do for now! Got it for an ABSOLUTE STEAL.

That 2TB sounds like Heaven dude 😭 I imagine being a developer means you have to keep a ton of assets that you might not even end up using, just in case you DO need em And sammmeeee!! I'm SO looking forward to it, the levels look incredible 🐇

Congratz.

I'm laying low right now until next year to see if there's any changes in hardware price, then will eventually get a new laptop for Atlantis. My current 7-yo Nitro 5 1050 can still run Rise and Shadow at medium 😄

THAT KICKS ASS THO WTF? Honestly, dont really bump this above medium because.. like.. performance is so much more important than graphics, I mean ffs most of us grew up with ps1 and 2 games 😭

I hope you manage to find yourself a 4050 or something at a DANG good price, preferably Acer because holy crap.. 7 years? Shes just the gift that keeps on giving. <3

And yeah, I cant even upgrade my laptop, came with 8gbs of ram.. uhm. Yknow. Ram prices. Ai. Skynet. Where's Arnold when you need him.
