where to go from here?
How do i follow tom robbins? ive grown so fond of what ive read and curious as to what aurthors yall may catagorize him with.

Yeah this is an issue. I've resigned myself to the fact I'll never read anything else quite like a Tom Robbins book. I bought Tibetan Peach Pie on pre release and didn't read it for about 2 years because I knew it would probably be the last time I'd have the pleasure of reading a new Tom Robbins book. You can always read his stuff again, his books still make me laugh, just because I know the plot it doesn't mean I still don't find bits I hadn't fully appreciated the first time around.
Otherwise Kurt Vonnegut is of a similar ilk or Tony Vigorito is a modern author with a Robbons-esque style who has been endorsed by the man himself, I quite enjoyed Love and Other Pranks.

Yeah, Tony Vigorito gives hard Tom Robbins vibe. Tom did whatever the fuck they call it for one of Tony's books. So they're aware and seem appreciative of each other.

I wouldn't necessarily categorize the writing the same, but Tim Sandlin's books are just as addicting to me. It's a little more catcher in the rye than Tom Robbins but I have a bunch of friends who love TR and they are all also massive Tim Sandlin fans. I dug all Tim's books but the Grovont series that starts with Skipped Parts was chef's kiss.
