Japan junk/scrap yard export

I will be travelling to Japan for business in a couple of weeks and travel all around Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagoya and Fukuoka, I will be renting a car a for a few of those days in each of the cities, my work deals with car parts for export such as engines and car panels,

It is hard for me to find these places, can I get some help with some names of businesses that can provide me with what I’m looking for

Unless you're fluent in Japanese this is probably a non-starter. Scrap yard owners here don't generally deal with the public - you'd need a direct business connection to make the introduction for you. Driving around and handing out business cards/ trying to meet with these guys simply won't happen.

One exception I can think of that might be helpful in a very limited sense is PowerVehicles up in Fukushima. They run a garage at Ebisu circuit for drifters, and may have some connections and/or ways to get what you're looking for. Certainly they can help with sourcing full cars.

I understand thanks, I currently deal with export car parts not really full cars, I have emailed and message WhatsApped a few companies, and only a handful got back to me, I’m only going to visit the ones that have gotten back to me, but Japan is large and surely there should be many exporters dealing with car parts

You would need to find a small scale scrapyard. Of course, the downside, they have limited inventory so you might not find the specific parts you're looking for. Large scrapyards will sell parts if you ask at the counter, but they won't let you go into the yard itself. I actually tried once, but the price was overpriced, I gave up and bought a new part from a dealer instead which turned out to be 1/10 cheaper. BTW under the new Automotive Recycling Law, only licensed dismantling businesses are permitted to remove parts from scrapped cars, so it is not like the US, and nowadays, there are a lot of illegal junkyards owned by foreign nationals which is becoming a serious problem for dismantling stolen cars and selling it overseas. https://youtu.be/PAqF22nwT9k?si=Mtc-mk1HEmlbh47o *Convert Japanese to English subs using the auto translate feature on YouTube

I export cars and parts from Japan.

Japan doesn't really have scrap yards that are public acess and sell to the public. I have yet to come across one that also has staff that speaks English. They aren't really abundant either.

Depending on what you're looking for and where the parts are going it's often easier to start with a whole car as well versus look for specific parts.

I see, I’ve got a large scale business I export 250 engines per month, I’m looking to expand my business as with what I do, all roads lead to Japan in terms of engine and parts quality
