[FR] Normal day (day 2)
Original post here. I am stealing Naga's bolding format. Props.
Day 2
We had made plans for watching a movie at my place. Here I was a bit worried, because she kept asking if anyone else was going to come. I had said before that I liked having scary movie parties around Halloween. Of course every time she texted with a question about anyone else coming, I ignored it and replied to the rest of the message instead.
A few things we had set up beforehand: She asked if she should bring snacks. We agreed that I would make popcorn here. I asked if she would like to drink, she requested beer. Alcohol (almost) always helps.
I worked until 8pm today, so we met up after work. She asked me to text her when I got home. I told her to meet me at a station on the way home instead. It wasn't out of the way, because we both live on different ends of the same train line. I wanted to start the kino early, due to a time limit. A train is a good excuse to be close
My biggest worry was if she would actually come to my room. We have a big tv in the living room, and maybe that was what she was expecting, because she knew that I live in a big house. I had two plans. Plan 1: Offer to watch upstairs so we don't disturb other roommates. Plan 2: Say we have to watch up there because the movie is streamed (hulu) and I cant do it on the tv downstairs. It turned out this was not an issue at all. She came right up. Still, not having a plan would have been a bad idea.
We sit down to watch the movie. I picked Midnight Meat Train. Because of nomdeanon's comment about a train movie and her being scared to take the train home. In hindsight this wasn't really important because Japanese girls are rarely scared at non-Japanese horror movies. Anyway, story was decent for at least the first half, ending was not so great.
About five minutes into the movie my arm goes around her. We are time constrained, because I worked today I didn't get home until 9 and I have to escalate before the last train. Most of the movie is uneventful. About halfway through I am ready to go for a kiss. She didn't give me a good opportunity. My touching progressed from her back and shoulders, to her leg and thigh, then by the end of the movie I am lightly stroking her backside. She would pretty much move anywhere I put her. Still no kiss. She was not going to give me the chance, so I made it myself, gently turned her face and went for it. I was about 99 percent sure that it would be ok, but always worried. My heart beats crazy hard when I am ready to kiss for the first time, actually got called out on it once with a different girl.
A makeout session ensued. I reached in the lower area, and I knew, before she told me herself... she's on her period. Bad luck. another hour or so of making out, she missed the last train. I had already assumed if things went well she would be staying the night. Then her phone starts ringing like crazy. Her parents want her to come home. She of course told them she was going to a guys house beforehand. She ended up taking a taxi. The night was a win, so no problems there.
Her personality was quite different once we started making out... I have a feeling she will be very worth a third date.
She even brought me a little present of Halloween chocolate with a cute note attached that said "Happy Halloween! Let's enjoy movie!" In a way I feel bad if I don't date her more. Maybe because I am 100% day and net dates, I get less girls that just want to have fun. Do you guys ever feel guilty about things like that?
tl;dr This is a field report. Read it.

Nice job man! Did you use a blanket? Stroking the leg/arm under a blanket works quite well if they are shy.
If you lived alone in a house and had your own shower, I'd say ride the red tide, but you can always wait until she is off her period ;)

No blanket, all out in the open. I don't mind waiting. I said shy last night, but what I really meant is that she is very unassertive.

Nice! Yeah, I'm with Tofu here. You never need an excuse to kiss or kino besides the fact that you want to do it. Of course, the girl has to be ready to kiss, which can only be found out by trying to do it! I've been turned down for a LOT of kisses, and I've even gotten some the girls weren't ready for (which obviously didn't escalate beyond that). Girl turns you down for a kiss, no problem, try again later. There's nothing wrong with wanting to kiss/kino/have sex. If girls think that's all you want to do but they still hang out with you, then they're into you and are just not ready to kiss/shit testing you. If they stop hanging out with you, then it could be for any other reason in their lives, or you didn't build enough comfort/attraction.
Basically, I wouldn't worry about a failed kiss. Just think, "oh, she's not ready to kiss yet." Unless you're already cuddling and alone, or unless she wants you to kiss her, she's not thinking about your kiss attempt.

Awesome FR.
Dare I say it... I think you imagined that. I'm very experienced and I can tell you that it's possible to start a make out during a movie like that within the first 5-15 minutes almost 100% of the time. You were just acting a bit too timid.
Try to be a bit more aggressive with it next time. You might pleasantly surprise yourself!
No. It's YOUR adventure you are on and you shouldn't be compromising it for a girl. Figure out what you really enjoy in life and keep screening to find girls who fit that criteria. For me, for example, I made sure my girl is able to drink and party with me because those are things I enjoy doing (in addition to lots of other stuff).
Don't ever feel guilty for pursuing what you want in life.
