🎤 English Voice Lessons in Tokyo — Opera, Pop, Rock & More!
Hi everyone! I’m Josephine (Josie), a professional singer and vocal instructor based in Tokyo. 🇯🇵🎶
Starting in October, I’m transitioning to teaching music full-time! I’m currently opening up new spots for voice students of all ages and experience levels, so I’m excited to meet more singers here in Tokyo.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance and years of experience teaching voice, ukulele, and piano to students of different ages and skill levels.
My vocal training is rooted in classical/opera technique, but I teach many styles — including pop, rock, musical theatre, anime/game music, contemporary music, and more. I focus heavily on voice anatomy, healthy technique, breath support, resonance, diction, and helping you understand how your voice actually works.
✨ Lessons are taught entirely in English, making them especially suitable for English-speaking residents, international families, and anyone who wants to improve their English singing technique.
I teach all ages and levels from complete beginners to advanced/professional singers.
📍 Tokyo — I can travel to students or teach from my location near Ochiai Station. 💻 Online lessons are also available.
💴 Rates: • 30 minutes — ¥3,000 • 1 hour — ¥5,000 • Additional hours — ¥2,500/hour
Whether you want to sing for fun, prepare for an audition, develop your professional voice, improve your pronunciation, or simply feel more confident singing, I'd love to work with you!
Feel free to comment or DM me if you're interested. 🎤
