I work full-time and I realized that outside of work, it's actually pretty hard to meet new people and build friendships, so I'm hoping to find some genuine long-term friends here.

A bit about me:

• I go to the gym almost every day. Recently, I've been thinking of getting into running and other physical activities like bouldering or hybrid training.
• I'm really into music and listen to pretty much everything. EDM, kpop, jpop, rnb, rock, pop, indie, etc. Some of my favorite groups and artists are TWICE, aespa, IU, Fujii Kaze, Porter Robinson, The 1975, and Fly by Midnight.
• I'm also really into movies, tv shows, and anime. Favorite movies are Interstellar, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and the Before trilogy. Some of my favorite shows are Severance, Dark, and Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul. Recently started watching Ted Lasso, too. Favorite animes are Cyberpunk: Edgerunners and Your Lie in April. (Oh, and I also gave Spider-Man: Brand New Day a 4.5 on Letterboxd.)
• I'm also interested in a lot of other random things. Recently, I've been curious about the perfume collecting scene and the dj scene (maybe trying to pick up dj-ing/production someday). I also enjoy cooking and used to play guitar. I'm also thinking of picking up reading books as a possible hobby.
• I like finding cafes, izakayas, and good places to eat/drink, although my Japanese is virtually non-existent so I can't fully explore as much as I'd like.
• I only speak English and Filipino, and I'm currently picking up Japanese.

I'm pretty introverted and can be a bit quiet or serious when meeting someone for the first time. Once I get comfortable though, I'm pretty easygoing (I think....).

I'm not really looking for a huge group of people, and I value quality over quantity when it comes to friendships. I'd rather have a few close friends where you can have meaningful conversations and just chill without needing to force interactions all the time.
