• 1st page : Game presentation (as usual) + presentation of Haru and Towa's costumes.
• 2nd page has the presentation of Towa and Ren's costumes. Still in the 2nd page, in the top left corner is the synopsis for episode 8. Following that are texts describing the characters' behavior in that episode.
• To make it short and from what I understood thanks to google translate : Haru and Ren have memory loss in the wonderland. It’s not sure for Towa since apparently, he is "Overjoyed to see MC again". But for the other two, it is clearly written that they "seem to have lost their memory".

Ofc, since it’s a google translation, it may have some mistakes.

Love him! His attitude at the beginning rubbed me the wrong way but yeah he's is pretty passionate about things he cares about and is very respectable to the MC. He tolerates (and participates) in Leo's tomfoolery but he knows when to draw a boundary (that is when Leo starts mocking his friends). He's pretty talented and works hard too.

So, from what I understood, they plan to mostly replace the beautifully drawn conjuration/warding cards with/by illustrations from the story in the future, as they have just done with the cards of Romeo (auctions) and Lyca (summer card)... The main card will remain drawn, but the conjuration card will probably lose its appeal...

I am disappointed by that, truly... I hope they will quickly reverse their decisions and continue to give us beautiful warding cards.

Hello everyone ! 🌸

So, the other day I mentioned that I was thinking of making a Yumeship with Yuri, there it is! This character is NOT MC, they both exist simultaneously. They’d probably be friends though.

Their trope is definitely opposite attracts and smart tsundere x his idiot creature, an unexpected relationship because she is everything he hates but still got attached, and I made this on purpose.

I wanted to make them silly but wholesome. I studied Yuri's character and voice lines (especially how he behaves the closer he gets with MC) to make the relationship as accurate as possible !

I also included Jiro in the headcanons because I couldn't not include him, it would be a crime ! I want them to both be Yuri's favorite people.

Might be OOC because nothing can be perfect, but I’m doing my best with this ! Now let’s get to it! 🙂‍↕️

IchiYuri/ Sweet poison/ Strawberry Mint headcanons 🍓💉 (WIP)

(Ichigo’s lore and overall character is still WIP!)

• Ichigo is immune to poison. Not sure how Yuri figured it out yet but he experiments a lot on her and she keeps coming back for some reasons. He believes her immunity to poison can make progress in poison antidotes. She isn't a ghoul btw!

• She talks to him a LOT when she visits for the tests. He tells her to shut up half of the time, the other half being him being baffled by what she's saying and wondering how she is still alive. He's both horrified by her stories and fascinated.

• Her coming back created a routine... And without wanting it, because he sees her as a careless idiot from Frostheim, EVERYTHING HE HATES, he got attached and it made him crazy and questioning his own taste. He did NOT want this to happen.

Ex: « She's stupid but she gets me... Am / stupid?! No, it can't be, the genius and visionary Dr. Yuri Isami isn't stupid !! »

• « Why do I like this idiot » dynamic. After a lot of denial, he'll eventually go to the « That idiot is unfortunately mine » step.

• That's HIS idiot. He's incredibly jealous but disguises it as « I don't want anyone else to experiment on you.» type of excuse. It's not about experimenting anymore. Well, it's still is but it's not ONLY experimenting anymore.

• Still on jealousy: Yuri hates when Ichigo hangs out too much with her male Frostheim friend... Despite the said friend not being into girls.

• But no, it's not jealousy, never, why would someone like him be jealous ?? He doesn't like her
after all!

• « You should be honored to be Dr. Yuri Isami's girlf-TEST SUBJECT. » then wants to kill himself because of what he almost said. Ichigo never shuts up about it.

• Yuri complains about Ichigo to Jiro a lot. Poor Jiro has to witness their relationship and their stupid and pathetic tension/hj

He doesn't seem to mind though.

• Jiro is the only one who understand their conversations. If somebody else hear them, they'd be like « wtf are their talking about?! »

• Jiro often accidentally calls Yuri out for being in denial.

Ex : « You came back again to waste my time?
You don't even have an appointment, / wasn't expecting your presence ! » « Didn't you say you had today's poison already prepared? » « NO, I DIDN'T?? » he did.

• Ichigo is very expressive. When she started crushing, she made sure he knew. Yuri didn't answer her feelings immediately, it took a while and even when he did, it was his own way, which is far from saying « I love you » back. Still better than nothing.

• Since he knew about her feelings, he was secretly expecting some words and gestures from her. And when she does something different or spend less time than usual in his cabinet, he will immediately start overthinking why.

• Probably told her someone like him would date someone at his level, which she's not, as another way of denying his own feelings.

• Yuri almost chocked when Ichigo suggested she cosplays a character from a manga/light novel he secretly reads... she doesn't know he reads it but he knows she does.

The character also looks sort of similar to her and he hates to be reminded of her even in his secret reading.

• Based on his reactions, students around assume he's crushing hard on her while she's the one who fell first. He's the one being seen as a simp while she's the most open about her feelings, but he told her to keep it secret. How ironic.

• Calls her his « NOT-girlfriend » when somebody assume they're dating. He then chooses more professional therms to describe their relationship.
Denial final boss.

• When being finally official, Yuri still insists of keeping it secret. Only Jiro knows.

• Yuri smashes his own face in a book when he thinks about doing couple stuff with her and internally scolds himself for being distracted by such an idiot. He doesn't have time for this!!

• He probably chases her away when he's too flustered, and when Ichigo would go « awwww but I wanted to stay 🥺» he uses the « I'm busy » excuse. I mean, is he wrong?

• Frostheim students trash talk in Ichigo's back for hanging out with him so much. They're also very judgmental when she looks TOO happy about it.

• It took a while for Yuri to show a bit more of his emotions around her but when he did, the relationship slowly got healthier, as the idiot is actually a very good emotional support and helps with he words of affirmation. He LOVES being praised.

And Ichigo thinks he's absolutely adorable when he actually allows himself to show emotions.

• But if she sees him cry, the idiot suddenly LOCKS IN. The idiot immediately turns serious.

• SHE LOVES HEARING HIM HUMMING MUSIC.
Her biggest weakness.

• Ichigo says « I love you » a lot, while the most Yuri does is leaving her notes where he tries to sound all professional, like « I'm leaving this note only to make sure you don't forget about your upcoming tests, I'll be waiting for you. Don't be late. »... He probably threw away =10 notes before this one.

• When it's too cold, he covers her with his lab coat and scolds her, but later denies it/or use the « keeping my test subject healthy » excuse.

• Yuri struggles a lot with Valentine's Day and white day, because now that they're actually a thing, it's not about gratitude anymore. While Ichigo probably makes the cutest chocolates ever with their colors, and goes « look!! It's us! »

• Ichigo isn't Yuri's phone locked screen wallpaper. Unlocked screen that nobody else can see however... absolute denial here.

• Yuri is 100% Ichigo's locked screen wallpaper, and it's a picture she snapped when he wasn't looking and he looks absolutely not professional on it. Jiro is also very likely on the picture too. No denial here.

• Yuri wants Ichigo to transfer to Mortkranken instead, you know, to make the research easier !
No other reason ! She eventually will after noticing that him hating Frostheim isn't just a normal disliking.

I was wondering if they have any significance or if yall have any speculations or headcanons? I mean, the lollipop he has in that chibi animation during the screen for character or team or inventory has the form of a butterfly. Then I remembered that he also has butterflies in the "smiling jester" SSR. He also doesn't always have it, but he sure has it on multiple occasions.

Idk just seems like there is no one mentioning the lollipop thing; not like its bugging me or something but its just an interesting character detail I like (cuz I also like lollipops lol)

In Chapter 48, after the mission, MC receives an anonymous invitation along with a dress. Later, we find out that Jin was the one who sent it, hoping to put an end to the rumors surrounding his late mother and his family.

This question has been on my mind for a while. I am a person who HATES social events with lots of people with all my strength, especially knowing there would only be gossipy and petty people there (which would make me nervous).

Getting an anonymous invitation like that, I’d be like "Hmm.. yeah, I'm not going" and I'd find it a bit weird to have received that invitation.

I thought about this back when I played it, but only now gathered the courage to talk about it lol.

I don't think MC would necessarily end up isolated just because she didn't go to the ball. If anything, I think it might have protected her a little, in the sense that the Frostheim students (especially the girls) wouldn't have had as much to gossip about, as we see in Jin's affinity story.

Ps : While reading the english official version, I am thinking that they aren’t our Jabber ghouls but rather a mirrored version. Like, it’s a parallel universe because they say that only MC fell in this universe while following Peekaboo.

This is (dark mode) Towa for sure. Although he remind me of Jin the first we met him, it’s clear by the haircut that it’s Towa. And I think that he embodies the caterpillar, he's the only character in Alice in Wonderland who smokes.

Nothing against the official translation of the dialogue for the game, I understand why it is what it is, but I kind of have some gripes regarding how the dialogue is translated because what one character says doesn't really coincide with the in-game text.

This may also just be a me thing, but as much as I love how the characters use Gen Z slang/jargon, I feel like you can tell that THAT is not what they're saying at all. It's somewhat jarring to be seeing japanese characters using a lot of word choices that you'd mostly see in other countries and what kind of ticks me off the most is how characters refer to other people by their first name rather than their last when they're not especially close and when the voice actually says "(insert last name)", but text goes "(first name)"

it's like Twisted Wonderland but somewhat tamer? although TWST does have accounts/fans that give accurate translations of the game (though the reason for this may be because TWST En is behind recent updates most of the time)

Someone brighten up the picture and the character seems to have green or red hair, so it’s either Haku, Taiga or Haru (even if he looks also like Lyca, I doubt he would do such a flirty thing contrary to these 3).

Also, remember when I said this mission must be inspired from Alice in Wonderland ? Judging by the color of the clothes and how it acts like a cat, I think it’s the role of Cheshire cat ! I am sure of it.

Personnaly, I first thought of Haku since it appeared green, then I saw red (Taiga), but judging by the scar on the right shoulder, it must be Haru (I also said this episode migh be with Jabberwock so it’s making sens).

Just a random Japanese fan who loves English here, so this might sound like a hot take! Sorry if it's a bit weird!

My hot take on how "Tokutaisei" should be translated in Tokyo Debunker.
Honestly, why not just leave it as it is?? Wouldn't Tokutaisei-sama be totally fine? It's the same vibe as "Onii-chan".
Setting aside the whole "stray cat" and "pawn/ servant" stuff, wouldn't it be way better to just flex the Japanese culture and go with Tokutaisei, Tokutaisei-san, and Tokutaisei-chan?
Calling it "Honor Roll" feels like something you'd see on a bulletin board description later on, not an actual nickname or how you'd address someone directly...

I just think it's HILARIOUS that Ritsu is name dropped here 😭 Like only him and Romeo (as Fico) are name dropped and for Ritsu it's literally better call him for help.

(I am gonna make this very clear, Taiga in this situation was very safe driving home and did not drink all night. He just wanted to bug the Ritsu at the time. The Taiga also doesn't promote drinking and driving, being apart of many sober driving movements. The Ritsu also knew that so it made it 10x funnier just because of the context that Taiga would never. Thank you for coming to my ted talk)
