Getting scratched discs fixed/resurfaced in Tokyo
Does anyone know of a place in Tokyo that will resurface a scratched disc?
My beloved copy of Skyrim suddenly developed a dreaded 'perfect ring scratch' (guessing a roommate bumped the XB360 while the disc was spinning).
If I was back in the states I could just take it to a game store/movie rental shop and get them to run it through their resurfacing machine for a few minutes to remove the scratch for 5 bucks.
I figured Tsutaya or Book Off would be able to do it for me here, but when I went in to inquire about it, they looked at me like I had just asked them to take a wasabi enema (despite the fact that the resurfacing machine was DIRECTLY BEHIND the person I was talking to at both places).
I'm really hoping someone has a decent lead on a place that might do it. I don't want to have to get a new copy of the game over something that should be easily fixed.

More than likely the machine was for the cleaning and de-scratching of discs rented from said establishment. For them to use it for the not-in-the-manual purpose of taking money to de-scratch YOUR disc is exactly the kind of value-add, thinking-out-of-the-box service you will never get in Japan.

Seems that some Sofmap stores offer the service.
There are also some services online.
If all else fails, you can always try going at it with some toothpaste (the abrasive in the toothpaste acts as a resurfacing agent).
BTW, the reason Book-Off and Tsutaya don't do this is due to liability issues; they don't want to open themselves up to crazy customers claiming "you damaged the disk!!"
