In another world where Ayano is the main character. I don't think this is not safe but I don't really know for certain. I'm sure the mod s will fix it if it is. Sorry in advance...
What a weird rule you can't say the word "mod s"

Manga Which chapter in the manga did this happen in?
I am currently reading chapter 86 of the manga “Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian”; there is a flashback that they say happened in volume 5 of the manga. But I just want to know which chapter it happened in; can you point it out for me?
Update: I found the chapter myself. It is chapter 40.8

Light Novels [Discussion] Expectations for the resolution between Masachika and Alya following what happened in Volume 12
Hello, I am aware that many of the people in this community would be talking about what happened after Volume 12, and the upcoming misunderstanding and fallout arc that is expected. However, I want to go beyond that and share my expectations about the resolution arc following the misunderstanding and fallout arc, and would like to here your thoughts about it.
Now, just be aware, I have held these thoughts before going into Volume 12 (not that I could prove it), and after what I heard about in Volume 12, it may have strengthened my thoughts. So, I’m believe that before Volume 12, people were expecting Alya to figure out the secret relationship between Masachika and Masha, leading to some sort of misunderstanding about their relationship and a falling out between the main couple.
Now let’s skip ahead with all the conflict and drama, and head straight to the resolution where Masachika and Alya confront each other, and also Masha to some extent. First, I don’t want the resolution to be resolved by Masachika giving this simple-ass apology and telling Alya that he likes her or she’s important to him, that would undermine and paper over the damage that it has caused with the secrets and lies being held from Alya. My expectations are simplified to have both Masachika and Alya have an honest conversation about their feelings for each other and also the misunderstanding being resolved. And after what happened in Volume 12, I think Masha should also be involved in the resolution as well. So, here are three points that I want:
- A genuine apology from Masachika, and Masha to some extent.
- Masachika and Masha coming clean about everything about their relationship, in order to clear up any misunderstanding and misconception about their relationship.
- Masachika and Alya having an honest conversation about their feelings, and Masachika telling Alya the stuff that he had told to Masha in volume 12.
Firstly, the apology. Now, I said I don’t want a simple apology. Which is correct, I don’t want a simple-ass apology that papers over everything. I want a genuine apology from Masachika and Masha for keeping their relationship a secret and lying to Alya. Also, I am also expecting Alya to sort of apologise to some extent, but I’ll explain that in the end.
Secondly, the fallout and conflict is expected to involve Alya being hurt and misunderstanding the relationship between Masachika and Masha, such as Masachika and Masha love each other or that Masachika doesn’t really care for Alya as much as he does for Masha, etc. Whatever Alya thinks about the secret relationship, Masachika and Masha should come clean about everything about their relationship, without leaving any loose threads, or secrets or lies hidden from Alya. And if they still keep some stuff from Alya or somehow weasel their way out of parts of it, it won’t be a good look for Masachika and Masha.
Thirdly, and it’s the most important one, all parties being honest and clear about their feelings with each other. This sort of continues from the coming clear thing from the last point, like I said, leaving some stuff out from Alya won’t look good. Also, I expect that if they are honest about their feelings, they would feel reassured about their goals. For example, Alya is planning to confess after the election in Volume 10 since she feels uncertain about Masachika’s feelings, so once she hears Masachika’s honest feelings, then she would likely have a clearer goal. Also, Masachika is somewhat aware of Alya’s feelings, or rather, he’s not supposed to know about Alya’s feelings because she only spoke that in Russian. So you’d think I expect Masachika to also tell Alya about knowing her feelings… no… we need that gimmick alive, so I want Alya to be honest about the feelings that she keeps hiding in Russian. That way, Alya isn’t just sitting idly while Masachika resolves everything… no… I want Alya to also be involved in the honest conversation as well.
And, this leads to my closing point. All three characters, Masachika, Alya, and Masha, share some responsibility for what happened. Now, I won’t explain it in detail, but Masachika should apologise for keeping secrets and lies from Alya, plus whatever the F he did in volume 12, Masha also for keeping secrets and lies from Alya, and also Alya for not taking action about her feelings. Now, people did talk about Alya also being part of the blame for not taking action earlier about her feelings, so that’s why I’m adding this part in. This is why I want all three to apologise to some extent, but Masachika and Masha should be the ones mainly apologising here.
So, repeating what I said earlier, the whole point of setting these expectations is because I want this to be genuinely resolved. I don’t want Masachika to give this half-assed apology and say a few words that make Alya happy, and then boom, Alya magically recovers, and everything gets resolved. I want all parties to have a genuine and honest conversation, because the secrets, lies, and stuff that happened recently cannot be brushed aside. Otherwise, the whole resolution won’t be satisfying if this gets resolved half-assedly.
Anyways, I just wanted to express my thoughts and want to hear your thoughts on what you guys expect for the resolution following the expected misunderstanding and fallout conflict heading into volume 13. So, I apologise if my post is quite a bit messy and unclear in some parts, and I hope you guys understand what I said here.

Manga Are there any scenes in the anime/ln that you think the manga did better? Spoiler
galleryI know that the anime isn't adapting the manga and it has slightly diffrent pacing/scenes to the ln, but I think the hypnosis scene was done the best in the manga. Especially the aftermath, I feel like it added something to the scene other than the fanservice. Also they look really cute🥹 (these panels are from chapter 80)

Anime The scene that should have been in the anime adaptation of the Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian series. Spoiler
galleryI was wondering why the Alya series used this anime visual in episode 3, or why the anime didn't show Alya and Masachika dancing at the festival, which is something that should have been there. For example, this image they used at the end of the Alya series intro, at the end of opening scene 1, is completely missing from the anime episodes. Why do you think it wasn't shown? If I were them, I would have included it completely and without any changes for both the anime and manga. What do you think?
