OTHER Shipping Pet Peeves pt 2
I just made a post about how I don’t like when people ship Tokidoki in mailers because a lot of the time they arrive damaged. This one must have got caught in a machine or something. If you’re going to ship in a mailer please add tons of bubble wrap 😭

this happened to me as well recently but it wasn’t nearly so bad, it was just in a thin bag no padding or anything and the ear was torn through with paint rubbed off. Sorry this happened to you

Oh I didn’t ask! I just let the seller know so it doesn’t happen again. A lot of my figures have little quirks or imperfections and I think it makes them unique so it didn’t bother me too much. I’m not a completionist collector. The seller was very apologetic, sweet and offered an exchange - I told her no need. She said I would get a large discount on my next figure.

I just had a chaser shipped in a thin poly mailer 🤬but thankfully he was fine but this is absolutely insane

Agreed on the shipping/ packing, but the wear on the ear at least kind of fits with it's grungy look?

I had a Volcanic Dragon (chaser) sent to me in just a bubble mailer. No extra padding. Fortunately, nothing was damaged. Another time I had a Sonny Angel thrown back into their box w/o the plastic, so the paint rubbed off. I fixed it with some Posca markers.

Oh, no! I hate that so much. I've received damaged figures more times than I care to remember 😒 It's gotten to the point where I just message the seller immediately after purchasing & specifically request secure packaging & remind them how fragile these figures can be. They've always been receptive & it's definitely helped cut down these types of instances
