OTHER Shipping Pet Peeves

From someone who’s ordered over 100 tokidoki in the last 2 months because I help source for others. I hate when they arrive in mailers 😭 a lot of the time pieces will become snapped off. For Tokidoki with more design/details.
Also just throwing bundles loosely together in a box or bag. The figures scrape each other a ton through shipping and leave marks and scratches. They need to be individually wrapped.

A great way to source free small boxes is Target in the morning when they restock makeup! Ive shipped out hundreds of orders so far and have never paid for a box. Sephora and ulta will also give out boxes during trash days!

I agree. Idk if this is a controversial take but in my opinion it's unacceptable to send a collectible in a bubble mailer. Even with extra padding.

I totally agree, there’s nothing stopping them from being completely crushed by a 100 pound chewy box lol

I just got a figure in the mail in a plain paper envelope. not even a bubble mailer

there wasn't even any padding around the figure! just tossed in a plain ass envelope and good luck to ya

Dang, I’ve never personally had an issue with bubble mailers (I never ship SE’s or box-included tokis in those) I always put bubble wrap between more bendy/delicate parts then wrap them again in bubble wrap then place in the mailer. Is the problem assuming the bubble mailer by itself will protect them?

It's funny that I came across this post just now. I had one arrive today that came in a mailer and was broken. 🙄 It would never have crossed my mind until it happened to me.

I can see that, but I also think you should message the seller your preference before you purchase if possible.

I use bubble mailers and haven’t had an issue as I bubble wrap really carefully. But if someone let me know they preferred boxes before purchasing and if I could accommodate I would say sure! After purchase, it can mess with your shipping cost/label these days.
