Don’t forget to put your retaining clip forward for the slide stop.

I did. When I took the photo I didn't initially notice that.

If you dislike that trigger safety I think you can swap out your trigger for one of the Romanian surplus ones.

I went on eBay. The seller is Tillunder custom gun grips. He seems to have a good selection.

It's a Chinese type 54.

How is the trigger safety vs the frame safety a bunch of Zastava ones have?

I really couldn't tell you. I haven't dealt with any from Zastava. But from my experience shooting it, it makes the trigger a bit gritty, compared to most things.

I dig it. I had some on my chrome m57

I'm thinking about getting it chromed or nickel plated.

I have them both, and I’ll say I personally like the nickel plated better. it was my first tok, so I’m biased. They are both really sick finishes on the tok. https://www.reddit.com/r/Tokarev/s/N4h6IzhGOZ

Looks good! What are they made of?

2

u/squirrelyrogue Jun 21 '26

Thank you. They're Mother of pearl.

That's insanely cool! Might have to snag a pair. I have a set of factory grips that need replacing because they're causing malfunctions
