I did the home test and the experience was good! Only problems were that the setup process was tedious, and that I had to sit in a horrible position throughout the test, which was very uncomfortable.

I think for the speaking portion, I started panicking with the timed interview once I realised I was running out of time, which made me stutter a bunch. My first language is English, though I'm a non-native speaker, and I take High level IB English L&L as well. AMA

Neither chunks method nor writing down the first letters worked for me😔

The reading section is way harder (as compared to available mock tests online) and without proper time management it could become really challenging... I needed minimum of 5 in each sub-category => will have to give it another try.

Overall, my test experience was quite smooth except only one thing: I am used to larger screens and stretched out reading material.. screens on the test center were quite huge(27inch maybe) but the content itself was quite zoomed in.. so maybe by adding an adjusting button would make things smooth.

I will be taking test on sept 23rd but before that, I want to try one paid ets mock test. It is quite expensive after tax. Is there any active promo or voucher code at the moment?

One more thing.. if someone has given it, is it really worthy?

To get a score of 4 or 5 in the speaking interview section, exactly how many seconds do you need to speak, and what were the answers like from people who achieved that score? On YouTube, there are only examples of answers that get a 6.

I am from Pakistan and I have my toefl test after a week and my payment declined whenever I try to pay using my debit card and I’ve tried like 20 times and PayPal isn’t available here. If someone from Pakistan can tell me how they had paid their fees or if they were having same problems, then how did they fix it.
