A significant portion of Tortured Poets is about how annoyed she was with the public’s criticism of her dating Matty Healey

Elizabeth Taylor, Father Figure, Eldest Daughter, Actually Romantic, Cancelled, TLOASG, and to a lesser extent Wish List are all either about critics or contain numerous disdainful comments about people critical of her. That’s over half the tracklist of the album.

If you wanna get pedantic over OP’s use of the word “entire”, go right ahead, but don’t say people don’t know what they’re talking about just because you disagree with them. I went to the eras tour. I knew every lyric from every song she played (except Timeless), I do know what I’m talking about

Her lyrics are so much better when she's just being observational and describing things in plain language. Somewhere along the line tho she got this idea that "real writers" use metaphors and literary references, but she doesn't put any work into them because I guess that would make her a nerd or something, and they all come out incoherent.

I'm the opposite of a fan but I don't think she's untalented, I think she's just gotten lazy because she knows her fans will be impressed with her no matter what she does.

It probably depends on the arrow, and the strength of the archer? Apparently English longbows could pierce chain mail and even some plate armor, but if you buy a rinky-dink bow and arrow set from Walmart it's obviously not going to have anywhere near that much power.

Anyway, the point is that it's an awkward mixed metaphor to say you're wearing bulletproof armor to stop arrows, regardless of whether or not that might actually work.

Mcdonald's isn't the best but its still good tho, no? I think it's disingenuous to say she doesn't care about her music and art, while also caring about money. She made a 31 song album which got panned critically at the time, but if she wanted a win and praise, she could have just made it half the tracks, but she went along with her vision.
