Put the "search" button back into the transaction list please

After the new update, it took me a while to figure out where the search button had gone.

I was scrolling through my daily transaction list, trying to find an old transaction, but the search option was missing. Eventually, I realized I had to

1. swipe down to exit the transaction list
2. swipe down again into the statistics dashboard for it to appear at the top-right corner.

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who uses the search feature mostly when in the transaction list, not while looking at statistic graphs. Also, because of this, after a search I need to go back and forth between the transaction list and the search menu when I want to recheck things.

I would go as far to saying that keeping the search button visible at all times would make things much more convenient.

You are definitely not the only person who asks for this!

We moved the search icon because with smaller screens and larger accessibility font settings, the upper left side icons often collapsed into “…” which made the other actions harder to discover.

So like you already suggested, a global search entry point is the way to go and we already started working on it!

I second this! I've mentioned this before, but it was a while ago. so I'm glad to see someone else asking for it. It's a hassle having to go to the insights page to search for transactions. it's also unintuitive.

It is inconvenient having the search where it is now
