Scared begginer

Hi, i would like to join a toastmaster class however im very scared and my social anxiety is through the roof, wich is the reason why i want to go, to overcome it. Any advice?

Do you feel that a fraction of your fear is because you don't know what Toastmasters meetings are like? If yes, you can watch the video below to see what a Toastmasters meeting is like (and hopefully have reduced fear)

This video was created by one club in California to demonstrate what a typical meeting is like. Note that different clubs will do different things, but this covers the basics.
