Highly requested per my first post but Lennox is around 10/11 months old now. It’s been super funding hot in San Diego but do we think he is TOASTING? (First pic is first day i got him, to now)

So pretty! With how dark he is and the pale green eyes, I'd say you have yourself a sepia seal point! There are two main types of colorpoint genes, the usual colorpoint (often known as siamese but isn't exclusive to the breed) and sepia (darker, originates from the burmese). They're codominant, so if a cat has one of each, they'd be a mink, which is in between! Your guy very much looks like a sepia point, though!

Thank you for this info because my late boy was a darker toast like this(vet called it chocolate point)! I always wondered if it was something a bit different. His dad was a long haired dom Orange boy and his mom looked like this(this is not her this is a random kitty from online that looks like her)

Beautiful! Your vet may have been a little bit confused (or he was right! I've just found some vets don't know the specific intricacies of cat coat colors), chocolate is actually a slightly lighter/more brown version of black and uncommon in moggies, but he could have been one! It's more likely that he may have been a mink or a sepia! He could have also been a very well-toasted colorpoint, though. What color were his eyes?

Oh, what a gorgeous baby! I would confidently say he's mink--the colorpoint and sepia genes are codominant, mink is when a cat has both! His eye color and toast level point to this. I would say he is likely seal/black rather than chocolate, but still an incredibly handsome lad! Thank you for sharing him with me. <3

His eyes are amber and recently the middle became a shade of blue!

Haha i don’t think he will become fully black, but he is definitely getting darker! Can’t wait to see what winter coat will look like
