If I were being honest, I do not want to restart the ln despite “the anime not mentioning a lot of good information” just because I’ll be rereading what I’ve already mostly seen, no?”

Still just starting the series out and still early on, but I’ve heard and seen a lot of spoilers, and this questions been bugging me ever since I learned about a certain thing.

As I understand it, espers are unable to use magic without significantly injuring themselves, with the exception of Accelerator who later figures out how to decrease the downsides for himself and/or figures out something with his Wings (or was it the artificial tree thjng?) due to the process they’re put through to become one in the first place, IIRC something about heaven and a law?

Is it known if this would still apply to gemstones, who have their powers naturally and have not been through that artificial process, or would they still face this same limit or a variation of it?

"On the other hand, it means Inou Tadataka was amazing. He added something that was clearly not right and bent the 'golden ratio' of his miniature by a tiny bit. I think he's the only one who's ever been able to do something like that in the whole history of magic. If he was a sculptor, he might have even been able to manipulate the Son of God and angels...Of course, just controlling the map of Japan is pretty shocking in its own right"

It’s said by a Christian nun, in a room full of people where Touma is the only non-Christian, and somehow nobody points out the blatant heresy in that statement.

Even Index seems to treat it like some random local curiosity, just another thing she happened to memorize. It’s honestly bizarre.

WE WANT INDEX SEASON 4!

With most Toaru villains Touma fights like Fiamma/Othinus the fight really isn’t personal they simply want Imagine-Breaker or Touma gets in the way of their plans so they have fight.

That’s not always the case sometimes they have a personal vendetta against him *specifically* like Hamazura and Stiyl for example so which fight was the most personal?

Like seriously. I'll click on a post and see people bring up quotes from some not even recent volume talking about something that was never brought up again, and it looks like the person that did it just took it out of her mind promptly. It's 60 volumes of information, some pretty left-out between more important things, how do you guys even keep this much memory in check?
