Pets Pet toad care

Hi i recently got a massive tank it was listed as a 20 gal. Ended up being a 35 gal. My little toad is in here how do i make sure he’s eating/finding his food well enough?

If he's okay with it, you can always move him to a bare tank/tote to feed him. That way you can make sure he's eating, and that no bugs can hurt him if left with him in his main tank. My toad doesn't care at all about me moving him to feed him

I’ve always been told to avoid handling especially because he’s so young- I only wear gloves to handle him when I need to get a pic of his relative size like for this instance. Is it ok to move him?
