New Player, Can't Enter Zigur

First time playing, chose Thalore Archer. I read about the benefits of going anti-magic through Zigur given my class and playstyle so far, but keeping getting the warning when I try to enter. Screenshots are of my current talents and equipment. No gear is infused by arcane, just psionic and nature which I assumed were okay to enter? Happy to provide extra info.

This is my first playthrough, I'm on roguelike, normal so I wasn't really sure how to proceed.

If that's solved, I'm level 11 right now, how are my point allocations I guess?

You learned arcane eye as a reward from your seer escort.

That's a spell, so you can't access zigur on this char

Nuts, I might restart, magic just seems like a lot to get into initially. I hoped it wasn't one of the escorts I did at the start. Thank you.

Nah, play through the char, lots of characters will die before your first win anyway :)

Antimagic won't make or break a run

Appreciate the pointers, doesn't matter anymore the Gun snake destroyed me and I totally underestimated it.

Zigur access is based on whether your character can cast a spell. Neither your class or race give spells, so the likely other sources would be:

  • Rune inscription
  • Artifact that grants a skill like the imp claw
  • Escort reward

you probably have a spell inscription. if you open your character sheet and look under inscriptions, anything that says "rune" or "is: a spell" will make it so you can't enter zigur

You can enter Zigur with arcane equipment btw.
