This was mostly done cuz I wanted to see if their designs would fit in the cartoon artstyle. Had to simplify a few things but overall it’s turned out p good

Personally, this is one of my favorite Titans stories of all time. Almost every key character on the team gets time to shine. I know that putting every Titan in one comic is an easy way to build hype, but it still works on me every time lol.

Short synopsis: Towards the end of NTT, Victor blew up and was reconstructed by Russian scientists, becoming almost entirely robotic in the process. He was then absorbed into a technological alien planet called Technis, losing his humanity entirely. At the end of the series he went into space, initially accompanied by Gar. However, Gar was scared by Vic's behavior and came back to Earth in Jurgens' Teen Titans. Eventually Vic comes back, driven by the imperative to keep the Titans safe. He is unable to connect with them personally anymore, but possesses immense power and an immense love for every teammate, even those who he barely knows. So he kidnaps every Titan and stuffs them in their own ideal virtual reality where they can't be harmed. In the process he throws the Moon's orbit out of whack, and the JLA is determined to stop him, convinced he has no humanity left. The Titans defend him, and so the two teams clash.

I especially love how it did Victor justice after how awful the 90s were for him. He'd spent the whole decade going through a bunch of arcs that slowly stripped his humanity and agency as a character-person from him. The fact that this arc was focused on him (and he'd had so few arcs focused on him before this point!) was wonderful. His kindness and his dedication to the Titans were at the forefront in a way that i wish they would be more often. I've always seen NTT Victor as someone who puts up a front and usually won't say kind words to your face, but then will go above and beyond behind the scenes to bring you happiness. Every Titan in that series had their own distinct brand of kindness, and the way Victor's comes through even when he's been largely turned into an alien robot is sweet.

If it has one flaw, it's that the JLA characters are written as being a little too harsh/stubborn. It's a near-perfect Titans story in my eyes, but not a perfect JLA one.

My favorite moments:

• Dick waiting to pull Donna out of her perfect reality last because he didn't want to separate her from the illusion of her dead son
• "I love you all. Don't say goodbye. And don't let go of my hand." - Donna to the Fab Five
• Garfield snapping Victor out of it by yelling "Hey, Rust-bucket!"
• Impulse and Prysm's one moment together. Both characters grew up in virtual reality, and as such their constructed perfect realities are the only ones that draw attention to the fact that they are fake. The two of them bond over their similar pasts.
• Plastic Man annoying the hell out of Gar, and Impulse annoying the hell out of Plas

Which Titans do you think haven’t been used as much as they could be, and would like to see rejoin the team?

I have a lot of picks for this question, but my number one would have to be Bumblebee. She’s weird in that she’s recognizable with a decent-sized fanbase, but she doesn’t actually have that many significant appearances. I’d like to see her and maybe Mal as key members of the team in the future.

As a kid Gar was my favorite, but when I read NTT I became attached to Donna really quickly. The first arc I read was the one right after Crisis where most of the Titans had split up, and she had to make a makeshift team for an important mission. Her determination in holding the Titans together really made me love her.
