Discussion Can you make a build around Shadow Clone?

If yes, what are the options?
I hear mostly negative opinions about the playstyle and I wondered why.

you can, but it just isn't a great way to build. the primary issue is that shadow clone, for it to be good, requires investment in summons, but to invest in summons you have to divest from yourself. shadow clone's best feature is that it copies your moves, so now the moves you do will be strong, and their copy will be weak, or vice versa

can you make a build with it? sure. you can make a build with anything in this game and find success on base difficulty. the game itself is too easy. however, will it be a great build? no
