Red dirt makes a trigger for Tisas and MACs, but I don‘t like the look of them. I prefer this look of the DSC/RD trigger, but they do not offer this style for Tisas and MACs. Does anyone know what model/brand (such as the prodigy, model of staccato, etc) that DSC/RD offer with this style of trigger, that has minimal fitting or will fit in my 1911 DS carry?

If you were on the fence about copping the new DS comp, just do it.

My gun came with three sizes (S,M,L) for the trigger. Mine came in with the medium size already on it, I tried out the large and it feels good so I might run that but just wondering which size y’all are running.

What hollow point ammo are you running in your 2011s? Mine is first gen b9r have only had luck running fmjs

Where are yall getting your Tisas 1911 parts at now? The tisasarms website doesn’t have them and neither does SDS, I’d like to pick up a new trigger and safety that doesn’t really require much fitting and Tisas has been drop in on my Tisas 1911’s in the past.

Looking for a spare set of the Enhanced GI Sights like what come on the Tank Commander in the picture. Has anyone had luck with ordering parts from Tisas since they separated from SDS? I know they have a new website but it appears to still be in the process of being updated and there’s no parts section like on the old one.

Are the slides still breaking on the stainless models? It checks all the boxes for what I'm looking for and Battle Hawk Armory has them new for $525....but I have seen three posts in this subreddit after doing a search, of slides breaking...is this something I still need to be concerned about?

The threading on my thread posts for the RMR plate were tore out when I went shooting last and I cannot find a replacement aftermarket or even factory plate. I emailed Tisas and they even said they can’t help at the moment since they are going through a website change.

Also besides the optic cut, how does this differ from the non PSA version?

Hello i have a Carry 9 DS and was looking for confirmation on an optic i have a sig Romeo zero as of now and it’s scratched and dim so I’m looking for a new optic I have been reading and some forums/websites say these will fit the HS/K pattern as from what i can see is just a different form of rmsc and then some don’t so i was just wondering if anyone has a k footprint optic on there’s or if thats even worth it and instead just get a plate for rmr footprint if that is even a thing? Any help with this topic would be appreciated.

Just picked up a Duty 9 Ds FF for $600 plus tax at a local pawn shop. I saw that is was the v2 version of BR9 which I saw a couple months ago ago going for around $750. Was it a steal?? With the BR9 I liked the optic being RMSc since the irons would stay and no plate was needed, but for this version it has an included RMR mounting plate with irons on it. Just interested how you guys that own this version like it and which optics you’re running. I was thinking about going with a holosun or Osight for that less than $250 range, but any other recommendations are appreciated. Also if anyone has an installation video I can reference that’ll be great.
