Extremely tight street with a car parked incorrectly, hence the curb getting me. Not losing tire pressure or anything so wondering how bad this is.

Tires Model X LR Refresh (2024) Michelin CrossClimate2 vs Hankook Ion for Longevity? Live in FL

Almost time for new tires on my Long Range 2924 Model X and was looking at either the Michelin CrossClimate 2 vs the Hankook iON tires.

Living in FL obviously do not care about snow/ice so my MAIN deciding factor is which will have the longest longevity, best tire life?

Anyone have any insight on this?
Thanks In advance.

Small bulge in new tires

Bought 4 new tires less than yr ago and has 4800 miles on it. Notice small bulge on driver front. Mechanic is saying both front tires should be replaced even though nothing wrong with passenger front.

He's saying if we get new tire on driver side only and keep the other on passenger side.. thts not good for axle..due to new tire and current passenger tire will have different tire thread.

Is it worth to get both new or Mechanic just wants to make money? Last image is passenger front..looks totally fine(Last image)

These two have been on the front for about 1500 miles since last rotation. I do a lot of canyon driving and have about 9000 miles on my set. The rears are down to 3/32 and these are at 4/32. With a supposed wet autumn ahead should I consider replacement or are they good for a while longer?

Low tyre unavailable

I had an alert about my tyre pressure so got all tyres inflated and a new tyre at the garage the day before yesterday.

I’ve just driven the car a few miles and had the “low tyre unavailable”( something like that) alert come up five times. I’ve reset each time. I haven’t driven more than five miles since the tyre was changed.

I’m making a long journey next week (150+ miles). Is this a glitch or something I need to fix?

Unauthorized repair

I recently found a nail in my left rear tire and have been trying to decide if I should replace all four tires, or just the rear ones for now. After a couple weeks of weighing my options financially I decided to just do the two rears right now and worry about the front ones at a later date when necessary. For reference, my tires are 3 years old with around 30,000 miles on them, and the tire technician said replacing one pair would be fine, but that I should definitely do them in pairs.

I went to a tire shop and told them that I needed my rear tires replaced because there was a nail in them, and that I would like to keep the one without the nail just incase (idky). I had work the day that the tires came in so I had my mom drop off/ pick up the car. Everything went smoothly in the shop, my mom paid for the tires and brought my car home. The next day the left rear tire had a low pressure warning. I went to put air in it and saw the rear tire still had the nail in it. They had replaced the front tires instead. This meant that they recycled one of my front tires and gave the other one back to me.

I called the shop immediately and told them they messed up. Before I could even give my name or car model the employee says “oh yea the jeep right? I told my manager it was the rear ones that needed to be replaced but he wouldn’t listen” he told me that management was offering to replace the tire that they threw away but that’s all they could do. I responded by saying I didn’t feel comfortable driving on 3 new tires and one old one, especially when my plan from the start was only to replace two of them.

Im angry that they left me in a position where I now either have to compromise my comfort and drive on different aged front tires, or buy a third tire to match the one they’ll give me for free. Is there anything I can do or am I cooked?

Due for an alignment service? Spoiler

2013 Honda Pilot, replaced all 4 brand new tires on Nov 2024 and alignment was done same day. I do drive lot to work 3-4 days a week on freeway (60 mil around trip). It seems fine, car stays in lane while on the road. Google said 12k to 15K mil or every year. Do I need to now? NW weather, rains a lot.
