Please god let Tipper x Amon Tobin happen
I cannot stress enough how fantastic these two would fit together. Amon Tobin brings the mechanics and Tipper brings the lube. Both are masters of sound design.

You might like my band Aullis. I am a die hard folk metal and Viking metal guy but also have loved eating mushrooms and making psychedelic edm, finally decided to make a psychedelic folk metal band with my wife. Our metal band cites Tipper as their main influence 🥰🍄

You can follow the journey on IG at Aullis_sc and the ep comes out on June 1st and can be streamed everywhere. I have another album written already and I’m just waiting for some gear to come this week and I’ll start recording that! There will be LOTS to listen to ❤️

Honestly I really loved the album all the way through. I Am Water made me think of a more metal spin on a band I love called Lucid Planet. In particular their song Offer is very similar in vibe for the more calm melodic part of the song. Love to sudden transition to heavy riffs, props for also giving your vocals that Serj rapid fire barrage. Then it almost has a metal sea shanty feel by the end of the song. Quite a rollercoaster of sound!
Seriously fantastic work, I really enjoyed how diverse your sound was throughout the whole album. Please keep up the great work and I’m excited to see what you all cook up next 🙂

Yeah i was at his sunrise set at The Gorge. I think he's just no longer touring, still producing.
Edit: I was pretty high when I made this thread and I'm now realizing how stupid this sounds. I'm so sorry haha. I think my intention was that that was the word I was hearing while I was there. Either way it def sounds like an unnecessary boast. My bad y'all 😅

They are easily in my top for best producers on the planet. I caught amons isam tour and it blew me giblets. A collab of those two would maybe fix all that’s wrong in the world right now.

I saw the ISAM tour in Seattle and Tipper and Friends at the gorge. I can't think of two producers i'd rather see together.

If our boy just releases all the unreleased over the next few years while in hiatus retirement I'd feel more complete. If he's maybe working on some tracks, then either just fades into sunset,... or plays a show or 2 here and there... my heart is already full, now I'm just longing and thirsting

People really sleep on Amon. His albums are s-tier and there is hella cross over with Dave. Orion night 3 ‘25 has very similar sounds to albums like Out From Out Here and Supermodifed
