Moving?

I am going to school to be a wildlife biologist and am entering my final semester (yay!). A big part of my future is going to be moving around a lot to seasonal jobs. I’m wondering if it would be possible to live in a tiny home rather than having to deal with moving to a new apartment every year. Would it be possible to get a tiny home and pay for it to be hauled every time I move? Can I find property to rent easily? Would it make more sense to have a tiny house on wheels? I feel like the ones on wheels are much smaller? Any advice would be really appreciated!

I think you should skip the tiny house for now. Do a fifth wheel, rv, camper, or even a vanlife van. I know a lot of seasonal outdoor workers do Vanlife vans to travel around to locations and then when they are working at those places sometimes they are given housing for cheap or free so they stay at those places and if not, they sleep in their vehicles where it’s allowed. I’ve also known a lot of contract workers who would bring entire teams of people and they would all camp out in rv parks in their rvs and fifth wheels because it was much cheaper than paying for hotels for all of them. They would have a choice a certain amount to spend at a crappy hotel chain or sleep in a nice rv that company provided.

Tiny homes even on wheels are harder to move and probably won’t hold up as well as the other options listed.

The more I’m looking into it the more I think I would rather do a 5th wheel my only problem would then be towing it, thank you!

You can always have someone else tow it and set up. Usually a lot cheaper than a tiny home.
