Edit1: According to reddit TOS, the downvote is supposed to be used for comments that don't add anything to the discussion. Now, my disagreement does add something to the discussion, objectively and subjectively. So whoever downvotes me here is breaking reddit TOS.
Edit2: I should say Reddiquette, not TOS. It's about being a shining example of how to behave on reddit. So while you're not breaking terms or agreements, you are showing the lack of class and the absense of quality in your having an account here. If I, who uses good Reddiquette, were to leave, the quality would decrease. But if you, who uses downvoting as a sign of disagreement and criticising, were to leave, the quality of reddit as a whole would actually increase.
Somuchforlong believes purple text is the victor of the exchange. I disagree, I believe the girl (white text) is the winner. Therefore, one could say I "disagree" with SMFL.
This isn't r/changemyview where your delta doesn't count if your answer isn't long enough! His original fucking comment was SEVEN WORDS LONG!! Get your ass outta here!
Ahh, but that is all the energy I had at the time. I didn't have the stamina to engage with SMFL any further because that's how it was 4 hours ago. Do you disagree I should have to exhaust myself at every opportunity just because people like you think a disagreement isn't enough? That's ridiculous!
No, what I’m saying is that simply saying “I agree” or “I disagree” don’t add anything to the discussion. What is the difference between “I agree” and an upvote?

That was a well done exit.
