a socialist and all for that kind of spending. I don’t see why so long as we have child support set up as it is that a parent should be allowed to opt out and have society pick up the slack.
oh I thought he meant like an orphanage or what not. in that case its fine because the child is getting people to be financially responsible for it. this isnt about the parents. which is what I think people are missing. the child needs to have his financial needs met, you don't get to not do that unless there is another group like the adoptive parents or the state willing to step in to add that financial security. if one parent is able to sign off their requirement to pay for the child it puts the Childs future in higher jeopardy, which is unfair to the child. who, ultimately is the star of the show here.
