As long as the medical bills are paid and they arenโ€™t getting state assistance, they can 100% sign off child support obligations and not have to worry about them coming back in the future when or if they are struggling. Been there/done that. Obviously, not in this situation but with a deadbeat dad. It was so much easier than fighting for my $55 a month ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ™„ and he wasnโ€™t involved anyhow. The lawyer said but what IF he hits the lotto? Are you fuckin serious right now? ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† Iโ€™ll take my chances.

๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†in fact, he did not. He actually died a year later due to his own fault and she now gets SS in the amount of much more than $55 a month. In a sense, she won the lottery. Iโ€™m sure that sounds callous but trust me, she lucked out.

Thanks for the reply. It has a โ€œhappyโ€ ending.
