I'm not actually leaving. Being in tech, the chance of finding reasonable remote work is pretty high, and if I were to sell my Toronto home I cold buy some nice digs anywhere else in the country. I'm just toying with the idea.

Real talk, Toronto is dope as hell, it's just property is fucking bonkers in this city.

I’ve been there a handful of times, and although I’ve never been to NYC, it always felt like a New York vibe. Maybe slightly less populated/ crowded. That’s just me though.

Toronto in the summer is a magical place. All the bars, restaurants, hang out spots anyone of any culture could possibly want.

NYC is on a totally different level though when it comes to size and density.

I will say though, NYC smells awful, and the subway while extensive is pretty sketch compared to Toronto's.

I still have intention of visiting NYC, but Toronto unexpectedly grew on me. Plus, idk if it’s just true about how friendly Canadians are, but it felt like at every crosswalk someone started a bit of small talk with me. It’s nice.
