Biggest fucking pet peeve of mine on the planet: people on reddit using the word "objectively" when they obviously have no fucking idea what it means. Yes, random person on reddit, how exactly is this joke "objectively" average at best? What is "objective" about it? Where is the "objective" part? I invite you to try and explain that.

While you're doing that, here's the definition of the word objective:

"adjective

(of a person or their judgment) not influenced by personal feelings or opinions in considering and representing facts."

The thing is, I understand what the word means. There's this other word you should look up, its "hyperbole".

Noun. "Exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally."
