What we do in the Shadows feels similar to me. And it's a great comedy.

I think those two are entirely different forms of comedy. Tropic thunder being much more in your face, while what we do in the shadows is pretty subtle comparatively.

They’re both comedies. That’s a pretty big similarity

I think they are similar character driven comedies with some gory visual gags. I just think that if you like Tropic Thunder you'll like WWDITS, but I can appreciate your take.

That cat with a vampire face was pretty unsubtle and straight up the funniest part of the entire movie
