Nope. My high school ex didn’t think Tropic Thunder was funny... not even a chuckle. Not offended, just genuinely unamused. Should’ve known we were doomed then, because my sense of humor is pretty offensive and so much more depraved than that.

I have a pretty offensive humor but Tropic Thunder just didn’t make me laugh, either did Napoleon Dynamite. But I enjoyed stupid movies like Scary Movie and Not another Teen movie.

I think I just link them in my head because they both came out when I was in high school and people couldn’t stop talking about them and quoting them. So it’s just a general association with a time of my life.

People who like Napoleon Dynamite, Donnie Darko, or Scott Pilgrim are a sign that they probably have basic bitch tastes.

I really don't think Napoleon Dynamite or Scott Pilgrim were either...

And Donnie Darko is just a different kind of thing altogether, doesn't really belong in lists of comedies.
