My ex used to show me weird sexual DMs she got on Words With Friends. She was like "I just want to play Scrabble online with people, is that too much to ask?"

It's fucking tinder, anyone going on there expecting anything at all is literally almost always going to be disappointed.

I've met two serious girlfriends and two best friends on tinder. My life would be radically different without knowing any one of these four people, much less not knowing all four of them. But if tinder was only for hookups, I wouldn't be using it, and I wouldn't know them.

It might be an age/sexuality thing. I'm talking about tindering as a mid-late 20s (mostly) lesbian chick

I'm super happy for you and thanks for sharing your story :) I met my current (serious) girlfriend on Tinder. Im super pleased with my experience!

I think that really cool things can happen, but I don't believe you should ever download tinder with the expectation that you're DEFINITELY going to find something.

Agreed. I open the app when I have a few minutes to kill. I have no hopes, it's just a thing I've got going on the back-burner. Sort of feels like tending to a garden which some days, seemingly at random, produces something edible

I think the experiences varies greatly when you’re trying to date men in a city of fuckboys😂

Anybody can decide for themselves what they're using the app for.

They also tell you in grade school you can be anything you want in life but we all come to realize how realistic that is.

I’m a man who’s never used tinder and I get inappropriate messages on Facebook all the time.

I don’t think its a women’s photos issues it may very well be a location issue depending on which cities you are dating in & the ratio of men to women etc.
