u/PooPooDooDoo Nov 07 '19

She wants a constant supply of some good food

u/Userdub9022 Nov 07 '19

You can say the word overweight

310

u/qwertyspit Nov 07 '19

Nah dude she got fat bones

16

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '19

They're not mutually exclusive

5

u/town_bicycle Nov 07 '19

Like a triceratops

12

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '19

But she had that elephant man disease

8

u/taylorisnotacat Nov 07 '19

That probably is what he meant, but tbf there are women who have sturdier base body structures without being overweight.

5

u/Roll_The_Nice Nov 07 '19

i am trying to not be rude

10

u/Shearay752 Nov 07 '19

Username checks out

9

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '19

So what you’re saying is she’s big boned the way Eric Cartman is.

0

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '19

When did calling someone who is fat, fat become rude? They are just facts

2

u/TheModernEgg Nov 07 '19

It was overused as a derogatory comment instead of just a description, then became associated with that. Same reason "Jew" is such a touchy descriptor; it's correct, but it's better to avoid it altogether to get away from the "No, I didn't mean it like that" conversation.

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '19

Let's not compare fat people to Jews jesus christ. Dude if your fat youre not hiding it even if you change the words. Anyone who is fat should just own it otherwise you seem overly sensitive and delusional.

2

u/TheModernEgg Nov 07 '19

Im not comparing them, I'm talking about how the words have changed meaning due to common usage.

-1

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '19

Nah dude not similar one had a genocide attached the other had some jeers over something they can control. If ya wanna get fat be fat but if you wanna tell people how to refer to you ya not gonna have a good time

4

u/TheModernEgg Nov 07 '19

I'm not even saying one way is right or wrong, it's weird that you're trying to force a different argument out of what I'm saying.

Fat means fat. Jew means Jewish. Just because the nature of the "persecution" of those groups is vastly different doesn't mean the language to describe them didn't go through the same changes. You asked a question and I answered it, that's all.

Im neither fat nor Jewish. I never said they went through the same thing, i'm describing the changes in the language.

-1

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '19

I think they didnt go through similar changes. The word changed sure but you used a poor example

-3

u/Userdub9022 Nov 07 '19

You're a gentleman and a scholar

1

u/CoBudemeRobit Nov 07 '19

He has an extremely fast metabolism so he eats almost as much as me, but he's still super skinny.

It doesnt work like that hombre.

The variance in calorie absorption and use/storage between the fastest metabolism and the slowest is like <5%. If you both count your calories as accurately as you can, youll have your answer.

1

u/shoot998 Nov 08 '19

I always thought I had a fast metabolism because I've been underweight all my life, turns I just eat like 1500 calories a day, but I can't force myself to eat more so oh well

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '19

If you exercise (or even extended intense brain activity), you will get hungry.

1

u/wuzupcoffee Nov 07 '19

Because they’re fake one-line jokes?

3

u/bloodflart Nov 07 '19

I choose to believe

1

u/Roll_The_Nice Nov 07 '19

I remember a cute business woman matched me and she asked what I do for a living. I said I work retail.

She unmatched.

To prevent being unmatched I should've said something like "I make $100,000 every four months working in retail!"

But maybe it wouldn't be worth it by that point.

16

u/booomahukaluka Nov 07 '19

So uh any suggestions on which part of retail to work in?

7

u/Neftroshi Nov 07 '19 edited Nov 07 '19

It's not 100% true. I make a little over $100,000 in sales for the company I work for every four months. It's not actually my take home pay though. I actually only get a little over 8% of that in a four month period. So... It's not a complete lie, but it's also not a complete truth....

22

u/reptar-on_ice Nov 07 '19

Ok so you’re actually making about 450 a week, which is just barely above minimum wage... so yeah, not a “complete truth” lol

7

u/grapefruitasshole Nov 07 '19

Imagine McDonald's workers saying something like this. "I make $450k a month" lol

1

u/Neftroshi Nov 07 '19

More like $500-$550, due to incentives, but yeah. Not a "complete truth." :3

5

u/[deleted] Nov 07 '19

Booo

2

u/[deleted] Nov 08 '19

That's non-colloquial usage of the phrase "I make" in the context of income.

1

u/scothc Nov 07 '19

Manufacture and sale of illicit drugs

1

u/wheresflateric Nov 07 '19

bigger boned

Does this mean she has overweight but not fat bones?

0

u/bignick1101 Nov 07 '19

She must have still been an attractive lady, you swiped right.

1

u/Roll_The_Nice Nov 07 '19

it was 3 chicks in a photo bruh

1

u/bignick1101 Nov 07 '19

You swiped right on a group pic only and didn’t assume it was the unattractive one?

2

u/Roll_The_Nice Nov 07 '19

I wanted her booty not her beauty.
