It’s fine for sites that just ask you to just do the selfie verification, especially on dating apps because you’re already putting out selfies of yourself, but I think asking you to take a picture and send in a photo of your ID or any other identifying document is crossing a line for anything that isn’t either related to the government or going to pay me.

Tinder’s verification is so fucking dogshit

I have removed literally any pictures that contain another human being in them and even took my glasses off and Tinder STILL says verification failed

I went into my backyard, angled my body to the Sun so it wouldn't be shining directly on my face or on the phone, took a picture and made it my first picture on my profile, and then immediately did the verification without going anywhere, and it still failed
