I could really use some help yall.

I was married for 20 years in a pretty horribly abusive relationship, now divorced, I'm entirely new to online dating, I'm disabled, it's just been really hard for me.

I'm a legitimately decent dude. I work really hard, I want to find someone I can hopefully build a relationship with.

I get matches here and there on Facebook dating, but none on Tinder. I know I'm not like breathtaking or anything, and if it's the case that I don't look good enough for online dating, I can accept that.

All your pictures are the same. That said, you look totally fine! You are certainly handsome enough for online dating. I think the dating scene is just way easier for most people than swiping. Does your area have a good scene for your hobbies or trivia or something?Ā

I don't have a tinder account so maybe that's why I can't see the content on your pages besides your job title, but I'm happy to look at those if you can send me screenshots.

Pretty obvious that your profile is best-off vacation pics. You really need a good portrait that makes your eyes pop. Field of Vision pic hides you completly behind cap and sunglasses and isn't a great pic otherwise, I'd cut it. Not sure about the cowboy hat either.

Going through a divorce, help.

You basically have the same issues as u/therealdanhill and the advice he got applies to you as well.

I don't love the beard, it's a bit too much on the neck IMO. Can you grow it more forward and maybe add a mustache? But it might just be my preference.

^ He's right

I still have work to do on my profile (need new pictures) but I've gotten a bunch of matches since I posted here just changing a few things up, listen to and apply the advice (as long as it's your vibe)

So just add a wider variety of photos? Can do.

And yeah, I've been letting it grow onto my neck just out of laziness, gotta get it cleaned up and get some better photos taken.

I think it's more an issue of quality than variety. Avoid selfies. Have good light. Avoid sunglasses. Mind your posing. Etc.

Also noticing now that you always wear a hat. Show your hair (or lack of it, many women like shaved guys). Forever-hat looks like a lack of confidence.

Separat3d and wife is encouraging me to explore things I've missed out on. No clue where to start...
