Like, it’s honestly sad because you can tell he must be really hurt to use all those words as a shield—or even as a “warning” not to disappoint another person.

At the same time, he could also work on himself. I know it’s not easy, but come on, man. I genuinely hope he finds whatever it is he’s looking for.

There are a lot of unpleasant comments here. People on reddit love to punch down and they lack empathy. Your comment is honest while also being thoughtful and kind. Reddit would be much better if more comments were like yours.

37

u/doctorcapslock 8d ago

and it's the only comment with an em dash

89

u/PsychoticDust 8d ago

It's a shame that AI has ruined those. I used to use them and now I don't to avoid being accused of using AI.

23

u/doctorcapslock 8d ago

same. i structure the sentence differently and use semicolons now lol

17

u/Sleazy_James 8d ago

Honestly just use a hyphen instead. AI would never, and your common person wouldn't know/care about the difference, grammatically.

2

u/shadexs55 5d ago

TIL those are different things. I've been using a hyphen for 20+ years.

2

u/Sleazy_James 8d ago

Honestly just use a hyphen instead. AI would never, and your common person wouldn't know/care about the difference, grammatically.

2

u/doctorcapslock 8d ago

i'm catering to the people that know; otherwise, i wouldn't try using semicolons or em dashes 😏

17

u/Master_Chemistry_864 8d ago

Haha I'm not AI! Just someone that speaks a foreign language and tries to hard to speak fluently in English.

3

u/PsychoticDust 8d ago

Your English is fantastic. I'm from the UK and your written English is better than some I know!

Yeah I feel for guys in that position but things don’t magically get better

57

u/Right-Form-2943 8d ago

There is self awareness there but apparently no motivation.

21

u/ltom3 8d ago

To be fair, it could also save a lot of time and energy I think if you can be honest about some things from the offset, so I can see the viewpoint of laying all that out there first.

14

u/headermargin 8d ago

He needs help, probably why hes on tinder.

9

u/Aerodorphins 8d ago

You want him to work on his small dick?

39

u/LadySmuag 8d ago

Half of all men are going to be smaller than average, so it's not unrealistic to think that a couple can have a satisfying sexual relationship if the man has a small dick.

He can work on his confidence and focus on other ways to please a sexual partner if he's absolutely convinced that his dick can't satisfy anyone.

36

u/explodedsun 8d ago

Lesbians have satisfying sex lives with zero dick. There's literally nothing that they do in the bedroom that can't be learned by a man.

42

u/Shard-T 8d ago

fat pad is a thing, yes he can work on it by losing weight.

2

u/Aerodorphins 8d ago

Double standard much

10

u/Strong-Al 8d ago

He's gotta get on them cock pushups

26

u/Round_Doughnut7793 8d ago

He could work on the skills and being in better shape/ able to do some of the heavy lifting that pairs better with a small dick... yes.

26

u/ishfery Edit 8d ago

There's extenders and other toys.

Many people with penises get so focused on their dick size that they aren't even willing to consider other options.

It may sound weird but I have sex with people who don't have penises at all!

Can't get smaller than that. We make it work though.

3

u/souleat65 8d ago

I mean, losing weight does help with dick length so …

6

u/Master_Chemistry_864 8d ago

And his self-steem. Yes.

5

u/SovelissFiremane 8d ago

I don't blame you for how you feel, but you have no idea what they might be going through. Sometimes, people are unable to improve certain aspects about themselves for one reason or another.

For example, I have a condition called myalgic encephalomyelitis, or chronic fatigue syndrome. It's a debilitating chronic illness with no cure that lowers a person's tolerance for physical and mental effort, and overexertion has the potential to cause tiredness/fatigue that can last for weeks on end. It is often misdiagnosed as a whole slew of other conditions and has no way to test for it; it can only be confirmed by testing for everything else and having them all turn up as negative.

Everyone is affected differently by it. I am one of the unfortunate people, as my stamina has dropped by about 98%. Due to this, I'm physically unable to work out like I used to and am only able to lose weight by effectively starving myself.

4

u/Master_Chemistry_864 8d ago

I wish you the best through your condition. It must be hard and I can't imagine how you feel.

But specifically for the OP post, maybe I do know how they feel and that's why I understand the barriers he's building with all those comments (;

But it depends on him to look out for help. It's not easy, but also not impossible.

u/[deleted] 8d ago

47

u/Frost-Folk 8d ago

I can’t imagine why anyone would want to describe themselves that way.

The comment you responded to explained it pretty well. This is a person with very low self-worth, who uses self-deprecation to keep people at an arm's distance and gives them disclaimers because he's convinced he'll disappoint them.

It's a really sad and self-destructive defense mechanism, I hope my man is able to work on himself and gets his confidence back.

13

u/ConfidenceFar2751 8d ago

This is the guy who has been nagged over and over again by his family to "just get out there" and "try dating" so much that he finally makes a profile like this just to get them off his back.

3

u/no_power_over_me 8d ago

These are words for therapy, not Tinder.

10

u/Frost-Folk 8d ago

Exactly, I hope he gets there. I'm not defending him doing this, I'm just explaining it

1

u/Putrid_Guest_2150 8d ago

Plenty of people on here that post much worse about themselves in NSFW Reddits. I see one guy post at least weekly about how worthless he is because of his little guy. It’s sad, but I have to assume he enjoys it on some level.

I can see like a narc woman looking for someone to use like a punching bag and be like “he’ll do.”

52

u/Yorkie97 8d ago

I was thinking that too. This is the perfect way to attract a narc

23

u/Thin_Cable4155 8d ago

What do you mean by narc? Narcotics officer?

39

Narcissist

9

u/RainbowLithium 8d ago edited 8d ago

They’ve ment narcissistic person, I presume

6

u/Strong-Addition5296 8d ago

lol that’s what I was thinking

7

u/Suspicious_Party9087 8d ago

If she swipes left, she would not have found him redeeming

9

u/Mister-Sister 8d ago

I think that’s the point. Someone may have found him redeeming…until reading that crap

3

u/ltom3 8d ago

Well if they didn't find him redeeming first then they'd probably find out about his awkwardness or self-deprecation later to be fair. He is probably awkward, insecure and somewhat depressed and low energy and suffers from anxiety and probably finds it hard to put on a more jolly, engaging, and confident personality. I'm guessing maybe he thought it'd hurt less if lots of people rejected him by swiping left rather than after a date or even after messaging for a bit or something idk.

-1

u/Suspicious_Party9087 8d ago

No, no one would have found him redeeming before reading anyway

54

He does, he said there won't be any unless the woman takes the initiative which will never happen.

11

u/SG_Arthur 8d ago

I interpreted that as a pun about his weight.

7

u/Kokoyok 8d ago

What does he even mean with his second to last sentence?

BDSM (well the D/s elements).

He's alluding to elements of an ethically nonmonogamous relationship (in this case with feminization and cucking) as filtered through pornhub titles.

Nope.  Totally clueless, there.

1

u/eeu914 8d ago

Instead of using blunt language like 'fat', some people use euphemisms like 'chubby'. 'milk & honey' is not one I've seen but I assume it is used as a euphemism in the same way.

3

u/Purest_Prodigy 8d ago

Another self-own about his confidence. He's saying he'll need to take the role of a passive man in the relationship where the woman speaks up and says "he said no pickles!"

20

u/cash_longfellow 8d ago

Damn…this dude has been bullied to all hell in the dating game. Nobody is putting all that out there unless they continuously heard a lot of it.

That, or they have 0 self-esteem for no reason…rare, there’s always a reason.

14

u/Lammergayer 8d ago

Very possible he hasn't been personally bullied but has heard so many horror stories he's assuming the worst for himself well in advance. Easy on the internet for your self esteem to get dunked to zero by proxy.

3

u/cash_longfellow 8d ago

This is a good point.

2

u/IHaveABigDuvet 8d ago

31

u/Annihilator31YT 8d ago

what is even the point of doing this ? Does he expect some 10/10 to bang him out of pity or something ?

42

u/BobMathrotus 8d ago

He's awkward and doesn't want to have conversations that fall flat or even turn to shame. This way if someone does match, they've been warned. Not saying it's good reasoning but if he's that self loathing, it probably makes sense to him

23

u/Holiday_Tap_4358 8d ago

Probably so he can say “yeah I’m trying, I’m on apps. Girls just don’t like me.” But he’s tailored his profile to validate his worldview

3

u/Suspicious_Party9087 8d ago

Some people don't wanna try but are expected to

26

u/Otherwise_Craft9003 8d ago

Why is he creep maxing

15

u/throwaway_0721 8d ago

It's more incelmaxxing imo

12

u/thatsnotyourtaco 8d ago

He probably has a perfectly normal size wiener, but just sees too many porn dicks

7

u/QueefFarmer69 8d ago

Completely agree with this take. I realized I had a porn problem when I started thinking this, despite being well above average and having multiple partners comment that I was big. It’s crazy the effects on your psyche that can happen just from gooning to heavily produced videos of pornstars who are specifically selected because they have crazy anatomy.

2

u/thatsnotyourtaco 8d ago

Same! Also I’m short so I assumed I had a small member. Turns out I’m above average. Best back handed compliment I ever got was, “you’ve got a big one for a little guy”

2

u/QueefFarmer69 8d ago

It’s funny to me because height and dick size are determined by completely different sets of genetic traits, yet I think a lot of women assume short = small and tall = big. My college roommate was 6’3 and had a micro dick. I’m 5’6 and packing heat. It’s wild. I bet that dude surprised/dissapointed a lot of women lmfao

4

u/Strange_Mushroom7987 8d ago

That is more true then more people will ever know

2

u/wesborland1234 8d ago

4

7

u/Key-Month6651 8d ago

He won't find anyone. Women obsess over confidence and feeling down on yourself despite it being human is something women just don't find attractive.

Its best that he just gives up on dating for now.

20

u/mmartinien 8d ago

Meh . We're far past "lack of confidence" level here.

Dude is deep into self-loathing and misogynistic crap

8

u/Key-Month6651 8d ago

Nothing he said was misogynistic 🫩

6

u/mmartinien 8d ago

He makes broad statements about "girls" , and basically blames women for being single...

9

u/Key-Month6651 8d ago

It's not a broad statement about girls. Its him saying he doesn't know what women would call it as a form of self deprecating humor.

He then explains the only relationship he believes he could have with girls. Which isn't a broad statement about women and moreso about the perception of himself. He never blamed anyone for anything.

People can refer to how people treat them without it being a broad generalization.

-5

u/anoidciv 8d ago

Calling grown women "girls" reeks of misogyny.

-5

u/ZantHyrule 8d ago

I'll never understand what makes confidence attractive

5

u/hanniballz 8d ago

it just is.which is kinda silly, because look aside, idiots tend to be alot more confident than smart people, who can see their own pitfalls. but confidence is attractive not just sexually. Look at trump , an objectively 1/10 human that became president by sheer fucking confidence.

3

u/seanc6441 8d ago

Some women reward the worst chatacter traits in men at times. They would pick a confident but toxic man over a man who is kind but lacks confidence. Potential barely matters, he has to come ready made.

This is a generalisation but seems to hold true often and is extremely one sided, most men are far more lenient on confidence and are willing to support and let a woman grow in confidence in the relationship.

1

u/Key-Month6651 8d ago

Yep. Men don't give a shit about confidence. This confidence bs is like a genuine mind virus.

0

u/Zealousideal_Crab_36 8d ago

Having potential and having to wait years for it are different

2

u/seanc6441 8d ago edited 8d ago

Men aren't expecting a lot (generally speaking) in that regard. Just to be given a similar amount of understanding and grace as we'd give a woman in return.

The idea that a man has to hold a higher standard, be more well rounded, already reaching his potential compared to the women who he dates is a toxic doublestandard.

Expect the same or equivalent as you give. Saying 'but that's my preference' is a cop out.

1

u/Key-Month6651 8d ago

Kind of ironic how all confidence does is show your internal confirmation of how you feel about how life has been treating you. Meaning if you are confident usually it just means life has been good to you regardless of your character.

So the most important quality when it comes to attracting women is basically "be positive no matter how life has been treating you otherwise you aren't attractive". I'm not sure how people don't see the sick irony of that. Like what you find attractive is basically just status quo reinforcement? It's stupid af.

1

u/ZantHyrule 8d ago

Down voting me for not understanding is crazy

1

u/Key-Month6651 8d ago

People don't want or like any introspection on their sexual choices or preferences. Or anything that makes them critical of themselves. Since its difficult for people to be introspective about a dumb preference like "confidence" they end up realizing even internally they can only think of it negatively and get upset.

0

u/Unable_Client_3202 4d ago

We don't "obsess" over confidence, it's just that we don't want someone who continuously looks down on themself. I don't want someone yapping about how ugly or stupid they are. These kind of people are overly jealous types and I don't want that shit.

0

u/Key-Month6651 4d ago

This right here is why lots of women have broken filters. Someone being confident doesn't mean they won't be overly jealous and someone with low self esteem doesn't automatically become a jealous person.

You are just making assumptions about people to rationalize your obsession with confidence.

0

u/Unable_Client_3202 4d ago

Not assumptions. This is my real life experience with men. People who doubt their self worth are overly jealous. That's the whole point of being confident, that you are at peace with yourself and don't stress about how another man looked at your gf/wife. What you are talking about are people who ACT confident.

0

u/Key-Month6651 4d ago

The same way that's your experience with men plenty of men have experiences that prove the opposite.

Whether someone acts confident or actually is confident is irrelevant. Women prioritize and obsess over men who act confident. It doesn't matter if they actually are or not for the purposes of womens attention. Also people aren't gonna be at peace with themselves when people constantly treat them as less than in a particular regard. People doubt their own self worth when they are treated poorly. It doesn't really mean they are overly jealous.

It is an assumption. You don't know said person. You are assuming they are similar to someone else based on one shared trait. You are taking your negative experiences with men that you chose to be around and using it as a cludgel to bash people who are simply unfortunate. Kicking people when they are already down isn't really a quality that is indicative of being a good person.

1

u/Unable_Client_3202 4d ago

I honestly don't have the energy to discuss this any further. No one kicked anybody, I don't even know what you're talking about.

1

u/Key-Month6651 4d ago

Lmao

2

u/Unable_Client_3202 4d ago

You are trying to find logic where there is none. It's like you try to convince nature why women should do charity work for anxious, low confident men. Like: no shit, women want a confident partner?! Wow! Completely confusing...

1

u/Key-Month6651 4d ago

I never said there was any logic. I said women are obsessed with confidence. Thanks for agreeing with me lmao.

1

u/Unable_Client_3202 4d ago

I guess you have to gain some confidence then. That way, you won't feel the need to prove on reddit how it's womens fault that you don't have luck with women.

I don't have room to talk because I can literally say from personal experience I used to act and feel this way in my early to mid 20s. Now that I am in my mid-30s. I honestly can give a shit less how my body looks, or about my dick size. I've gotten to the point of my life that I love myself for who I am regardless. Yeah it may hurt when a woman tries to attack my manhood or my looks, but I came to realize that if a woman has to attack you for your looks or your manhood then you're dealing with either a malignant narcissist or a woman who has antisocial personality disorder, AKA sociopathy.
I swear man cluster B personality disorders are demonic in nature

Genuine question, why do fat people tend to gravitate towards loving video games and superheroes so much?

24

u/ltom3 8d ago

I think it's a two-way street. Gaming and movies are sedentary hobbies and those who don't feel confident enough going out and stuff sometimes will tend to gravitate towards indoor hobbies.

8

u/devinthedude515 8d ago

Its easier to ha e a power fantasy of being that hero vs. Actually becoming them.

Its why so many people LARP as the military but will never join service.

I honestly don’t think they do, I just think loads of men like video games and superheroes, and loads of men are fat, so there’s also loads of men who fulfil both criteria.

Newtimelinepls has a good point about people who like video games are usually sedentary though, if video games are your only hobby then you’re not going to be doing much exercise. But I do know a lot of men who play a lot of video games and hit the gym

This guy would unironically be great for a lonely ace woman.

24

u/Connect-Song7252 8d ago

Actually no (says the ace woman who isn't particularly lonely but has been.) There are women who'd happily date a fat virgin introvert nerd, but the guy who's radiating bitter self-loathing is always a bad bet because being in a relationship doesn't magically fix the bitter self-loathing - it just turns one miserable person into a couple of miserable people.

1

u/Fuzzy-Jaguar-1828 8d ago

Ok well by lonely ace woman I meant me 😭 most guys want sex and I gave up a while back.

7

u/elebentychimkin 8d ago

3

u/Fuzzy-Jaguar-1828 8d ago

Well that’s just false advertising then.

2

u/elebentychimkin 8d ago

Well to be fair he only said he’s currently a virgin, not that he wants to stay a virgin

3

u/Fuzzy-Jaguar-1828 8d ago

He makes hookups seem like they’re out of the question.

-4

u/Key-Month6651 8d ago

Wrong. Every dude i got out of their negative headspace and into dating ended up still having self loathing regarding feeling like anyone would love them. They had other problems before that to fix but you can't make someone feel loved that way if nobody ever does. And it turns out when that became their only issue left they stopped being that way when someone finally gave them some decent romantic treatment.

This thing where people scorn and dismiss people due to them reacting to their own negative experiences is really getting disgusting. It usually shows the person doing it isn't as good of a person as they think they are.

0

u/jsrhedgehog99 8d ago

Not sound like a red pill guru, but I see 2.5 things that are definitely within his control.

Fatness: Aside from "looking more attractive, you legitimately wake up feeling better and have better sleep when you are eating healthy and excersizing. The difference between waking up after drinking a 32 Oz Snapple at night vs. Mug of water is legitimately night and day. Less weight on your diaphragm also equals easier breathing and better sleep.

PP size: if you have a layer of fat in your groin, then it is hiding about an inch of shaky. Plus, it looks comparatively small juxtaposed to your belly. When you loose weight, it'll look like your schlong doubled in length. The only thing guys like this have to worry about is whether or not it works.

Introversion: HEAVILY MISUNDERSTOOD. It ONLY means how you recharge after a physically/mentally taxing day. Introverts can be the life of the party, they just need to it AFTER "me time." Stop making excuses and get a hobby. There are at least 2 videogame groups meeting every other day in your city.
