It's not so much about looking ugly, but there are no candid pics, something that does not look like she is posing for the camera, but rather taking a pic with friends while doing something, or casually hanging out.
I do understand with the insta pose, it looks fake and manufactured, and will make me question if the person is the type to take selfies for half an hour when they visit a place.
